A Case Study Of Social Work Intervention On The Improvement Of Negative Emotions Of Cancer Patients In Rehabilitation Period

With the Advancement of medical technology,cancer has gradually become synonymous with "death" and has developed into a chronic disease.Although cancer patients during the rehabilitation period are in the rehabilitation period,they still face more negative emotions due to the recurrence of cancer,poor social adaptation,impaired self-concept,and mistaken attribution.This also makes us realize that,Rehabilitation can not be limited to the end of treatment,physical recovery,but should also pay more attention to the patient's psychological state.Therefore,it is necessary for social workers,whether due to ethical values or professional skills,to intervene in this group to improve their negative emotions and improve their quality of life so that they can truly enter the rehabilitation period.In this paper,under the guidance of cognitive behavioral therapy,a patient with convalescent gastric cancer with negative emotion was involved in the case study.The entire service process mainly includes eight talks.The author uses Socrates technology,arrow downward technology,rational-emotional role-playing and other techniques to help the case owner gradually learn to recognize automatic thinking,correct bad automatic thinking,and identify and correct intermediate beliefs.And core beliefs;In addition,assisted by muscle relaxation,visual imagination,behavioral activation and other behavioral methods,the negative emotions of the case eventually improved,and the author through the intervention of the rehabilitation of the negative emotions of cancer patients,In order to arouse more people's attention to this group,and at the same time,through the professional working methods combined with the relevant social work professional theory to practice,it proves the effectiveness and effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy for the improvement of negative emotions of this group.It provides theoretical and practical basis for improving the negative mood of cancer patients during the rehabilitation period.
