This paper takes the serving and receiving data of the Chinese women's volleyball team and its opponents in the 2017 Grand Championship Cup as the research object,by using the methods of documentation, video observation, mathematical statistics and logical analysis.Through watching video statistics,we can get the data of serving effect of different service modes, service effect of different service landing points, service effect of different service zones, overall effect of service, the receiving effect of main attacker, receiving second setter and libero player, overall effect of receiving service and receiving service formation of women's volleyball teams in different countries.Analysis of these data shows that Chinese women's volleyball team has advantages and disadvantages compared with competitors in terms of serving and receiving the ball, and provides theoretical reference for the Chinese women's volleyball team.Research indicates:(1)A total of 2,456 serves were served in this competition. The serve methods were three kinds of jumping power, jumping and floating, and serving in the same place.Among them, there are 190 jumping power serves,2178 jumping and floating serves and 97 serves in the same place.Women's volleyball teams in the world mainly use the jump floating-serve as the main way of serving, and the number of people used is the largest, and the Chinese women's volleyball team has the best performance in the jump floating-serve.(2)In terms of serving effect in different service zones, the number of direct scores, breaks and errors of women's volleyball teams in the left, middle and right regions is not very different, but the probability of direct scores and breaks in the left area is higher than that in the left area.It can be seen that the position of women's volleyball teams in different countries tends to the left area in the service area.In the 3,6 and 9 metre area, the probability of direct scoring, breaking and general service of women's volleyball teams in all countries is higher in the 6 metre service area.Because there are more serves in the 6 metre area, the error rate in the 6 metre service area is also the highest, while in the 9 metre service area, the position of the players with larger service force is the main factor,so as to avoid too much force andserve out, mostly for the general service.(3)In terms of the effect of different service points, the main landing areas are concentrated in the 4th,5th,and 6th positions of the Central District and the 3rd position of the back area. The Central Area is mainly the position where the main attacker stands. The focus of each team's serve is mainly for the main attacker. The main attacker may not have enough preparation time during the attack because the opponent's ball is too fast or too powerful in the process of receiving the ball, thus reducing the power and success rate of the smash. The 3rd position in the back zone is mainly intended to send the ball to a position close to the end line. One is to make the player who receives the ball produce the visual illusion that the ball will be out of bounds.Another point is that in the process of receiving the service, the players of both sides are more advanced, which makes it more difficult for the players of the other side to receive the service.(4)In terms of the overall effect of receiving the serve, the Japanese women's volleyball team performed best, with a pass rate of 54.8%,while the Chinese women's volleyball team and the Korean women's volleyball team had the worst pass rate of 40.2% in the current competition. However, the Korean women's volleyball team is the finalist of the foreign card and the second team is sent out.The overall strength is slightly weaker. This shows that the Chinese women's volleyball team should practice more in the pass rate and improve the accuracy of the pass to improve the offensive quality of the party. The performance of Chinese women's volleyball team is the same as that of Japanese women's volleyball team in terms of error rate, the lowest is 4%,and the ratio of general receiving rate of Chinese women's volleyball team is 42.8% of the six teams, which shows that the comprehensive strength of Chinese women's volleyball team in receiving service is not bad,but it needs further improvement.(5)Women's volleyball teams in all countries are three-person receiving service formation, but in receiving service position,American women's volleyball team,Brazilian women's volleyball team and Russian women's volleyball team adopt a libero player and two main attackers receiving service formation. This formation is mainly due to the United States,Brazil and Russian women's volleyball team in order to maximize the offensive strength of receiving the second setter in the competition,so the second setter does not participate in thefirst pass.According to the data(as shown in Appendix 1),the attacking strength and frequency of the three countries are no less than that of the main attackers, and some of them are even better than the main attackers in smashing the second pass. The Chinese women's volleyball team,Korean women's volleyball team and Japanese women's volleyball team adopt a libero player,a main attacker and a second setter as a receiving service formation. The main purpose is to reduce the number of times the main attacker receives the service, thereby reducing the offensive pressure of the main attacker and improving the quality of the attack. However, according to the data, the number of Chinese women's volleyball team receiving the second set is not very large, and it does not maximize the role of receiving the second set on the court.
