Research On Offensive Characteristics Of The Top Eight Teams In The 2018 Russian World Cup

This paper takes the attacking characteristics of the top eight teams in the2018 World Cup as the research object,using the methods of documentation,video observation,mathematical statistics,comparative analysis and logical analysis,to analyze the attacking situation,passing situation,shooting situation,goal situation and positioning situation of the top eight teams,and to summarize the attacking characteristics of the eight teams.Through the study,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The most effective attack area of the top eight teams is the midfield area.Each team's different techniques and tactics lead to slight differences in the number of forward and midfield starts.Effective attacking routes are mainly attacked from two sides to the middle.The choice of attacking routes is mainly related to the position of the team's core attacking organizers.The number of times entering the 30 m area and the free throw area is related to the tactics and attack efficiency of the team.(2)In the top eight teams,the success rate of ball control and passing is not high,the frequency of long pass is high,the success rate of pass is high,and the frequency of short pass is higher.(3)The number of shooting times of the top eight teams is related to the skills and tactics of each team,and the teams with strong scoring ability rank first.The top eight teams shoot the most in the penalty area.(4)The top eight teams scored in 31-60 minutes and 76-90 minutes,mainly in2,3 and penalty spot,followed by 6 and 7.Direct foot shot and header shot are the main shooting methods.The goal rate of 1-5 passes before the goal is the highest,and the goal rate of more than 6 passes is low.The number of right foot goals is the largest,and heading has become an important way of scoring in football offense.Forward players are still the main scorers,followed by midfielders and defenders.(5)The goal of set-pieces in the top eight teams accounted for 32.9% of the total number of goals.The tactics of set-pieces have become an indispensable means of attack.
