In athletics program,it is necessary to record and track the athlete's competition results and their identities in real time.Especially in the competitions such as marathon with low precision requirement of time but huge in number of participators, problems still exist in several aspects, such as missing record and logging errors. Thus,it is urgent for us to develop a modified system to solve the above problems. This project has realized a timing and scoring system with high-precision for inquiring about the identification tag of athlete and their competition results. The system consists of two parts: a recording module and a query module. The recording module utilizes Radio Frequency Identify(RFID)technology to quickly achieve the real-time position information of athletes and calculate their game scores immediately. As the RF acquisition card on the athlete is detected, the corresponding image acquisition module can be rapidly triggered to work, then continues to record the multiple images of the athlete's movement moment and complete the image recognition for athlete's later identification and verification. Moreover, the recording module can upload the collected information to the query module. The query module is composed of a user application(APP)and a web server. The user can login the account to inquire about the related information query.Furthermore, the system administrator can also upload the competition images to the server and associate with the identification of the athlete, improving the reliability and interactivity of the system. The system exhibits the characteristics of low cost, high reliability, flexible segmentation and scoring, and high interactivity. It is convenient for athletes to obtain the timely event information and event images.
