Comparative Analysis On The Technique And Tactics Characteristics Of Liu Shiwen And Ding Ning With Different Material Table Tennis Ball

In order to study further the effect of using plastic table tennis ball on the players' technique and tactics,Liu Shiwen and Ding Ning were compared and analyzed in the techniques and tactics characteristics with different material table tennis balls.By using the methods of the literature data,video observation,and mathematical statistics,etc.,this paper compared the application of technique and tactics of Liu Shiwen and Ding Ning in a total of 40 games in the two periods of using the celluloid ball and the plastic ball,focused on the changes of the use of tactics,techniques and placement.The results show that:(1)in the period of using celluloid balls,the highest usage rate is the rally part.Liu Shiwen's scoring average is higher than Ding Ning in each segment.(2)Liu Shiwen has lots of types of technical combination about the attack-after-serve.And,the 1-3-5 stroke mainly focuses on continuous backhand attack after service.In the receive-then-aggress part,short shot cooperating forehand attack is the best result.In the stalemate stage,the highest usage rate is balance by mainly using backhand attack.(3)Ding Ning's attack-after-serve tactics primarily focuses on short serve combined with backhand loop drive.In the receive-then-aggress part,the best effect is long ball and short shot combined with backhand attack.In the stalemate stage,the highest usage rate is balance,and the best scoring average is control on the left and right side of the table.(4)After using the plastic ball,the usage rate of two persons' serve-then-aggress part is increased,and the stalemate stage is reduced but still keeps the highest.(5)In serve-then-aggress part,Liu Shiwen's attacked-after-service rate is improved.In the receive-then-agress part,the usage rate of continuous backhand attack is higher.In stalemate stage,the highest usage rate is balance,mainly using backhand attack;the times of turning tostalemate stage after serving is higher than that of Ding Ning.(6)In serve-then-aggress part,Ding Ning's usage rate of the attack-after-serve is increased.In receive-then-aggress part,the usage rate of direct attack for service is improved,especially twist and pull technology is increased;the 2-4 stroke is mainly used by long ball combined with forehand attack.In stalemate stage,the times of turning to stalemate after serve is reduced;the highest usage rate is balance,mainly using the forehand attack.
