In early childhood education,praise can not only improve children's self-confidence and sense of achievement,but also make teacher-child relationship more harmonious.However,some researchers point out the disadvantages of praise,such as weakening the children's internal motivation,putting pressure on the children to maintain good performance,and making the children appear false moral behavior that caters to the advocates,and so on.In the past,scholars mostly studied the praise behavior of primary and secondary school teachers,but the research on the praise behavior of preschool teachers,especially kindergarten novice teachers,is relatively few.By means of observation and interview,this paper takes D kindergarten as the research center,selects three novice teachers as the object of study,observes and records their praise behavior,and assists them to do so.In order to highlight the characteristics of the praise behavior of kindergarten novice teachers,the author analyzes the reasons from both internal and external aspects of the novice teacher's praise behavior by observing the praise behavior of three expert teachers in order to highlight the characteristics of the praise behavior of kindergarten novice teachers.Furthermore,some suggestions are put forward to improve the praise behavior of kindergarten novice teachers.The thesis is divided into the following parts:The first part is the preface.Including the origin of the research,literature review,the purpose and significance of the study and the definition of core concepts.The second part is the research design.Including the research object,research method and research process.The third part is the research results.From the aspects of praise object,praise method,praise content,praise orientation,praise purpose,praise emotion and infant feedback,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the observed data of praise behavior between novice teachers and expert teachers.The fourth part is the discussion and analysis.In comparison with expert teacher's praise behavior,the characteristics and reasons of novice teacher's praise behavior are emphasized.The fifth part is the conclusion and construction of the research.Discussion.The conclusions are as follows: the characteristics of praise behavior of novice teachers are as follows: 1.The way of praise is mainly general verbal praise and material praise;2.The content of praise is dominated by codes of conduct;3.Praise orientation is the most personal orientation;4.Praise aims to lead by example and discipline;5.Praise emotion is mainly neutral and negative;6.Child feedback is mostly peaceful and fear.In addition,this paper analyzes the reasons from the internal and external aspects of novice teachers,and puts forward some suggestions: novice teachers strengthen their learning and optimize praise behavior;kindergartens provide support to promote the professional development of novice teachers.
