Management Research Of Yunnan Vocational Education Development Project Funded By The World Bank

The world bank is the largest lending institution of developing countries,help to support the developing countries in agriculture,education,urban construction and environment.It plays a great role in promoting their economic construction.World bank loan is an important channel for China to utilize foreign capital.Over the past 20 years of reform,China has introduced over $150 billion of debt-related foreign investment which the world bank loan is more than $35 billion.Since China resumed the right at the world bank in 1981,China signed the agreement in education loan with the world bank,and got the first college loan.Since that,more and more educational programs got the investment.However,due to the low level of project.management skills in China,especially the lack of international project management talents.Many domestic educational apartments have a shortage of projects managers,and their project management is not standard,combined with the differences in domestic and foreign financial management system and cross-cultural management,it leads to some obstacles and problems for the world bank loan project in the domestic environment.This thesis takes the Yunnan vocational education development project funded by the world bank as a case,introduces the whole management process,finds out the problems in the project management.Deeply analysis problems with the theory of project management,risk management and the cross-cultural management.Identify the objective risk in the loan market and the risk caused by the different financial standard and mistakes,etc.Give some solutions for the Yunnan vocational education development project,including strengthening project management,financial management system construction,implementing risk control,and enhancing cross-cultural management communication,etc.Help to provide value for future educational loan project management.Provide suggestions and countermeasures for building a better foreign investment management team,improve the efficiency of using foreign investment and achieve the project objectives.
