With the continuous development of the world’s high-level men’s volleyball team, conciseness, speed and strength have become the main direction of the development of first-attack tactics. With the trend of one attack becoming more and more critical, the time from passing to spiking is becoming more and more important on the basis of seeking quickness. This paper takes the time and effect of passing to spiking in the first attack of the world’s high-level men’s volleyball team as the research object. The statistical objects are the top six teams in the 2018 World Men’s Volleyball Championships:Poland,Serbia,Brazil, the United States,Russia and Italy.Research is carried out through literature methods, expert interviews, video observations, quantitative statistics, and logic analysis.Among them, video observation method and mathematical statistics method are important research methods in this paper. In this study,a total of 10 games and 35 games of the third stage(top six)and the fourth stage(semi-finals and finals)of the 2018 World Men’s Volleyball Championship were observed.Based on the data obtained, the data obtained by the study were processed and analyzed using EXCEL and SPSS 17.0 Pearson product difference correlation andχ~2.The aim is to explore the intrinsic link between the data,to understand the time from the passing of the different high-level men’s volleyball team to the smashing, the use and effect of different offensive play.To explore the intrinsic relationship between the time from passing to spiking and the effect of attack under the condition that the first pass is in place.Summarize the different attack effects of different passing time to spike time, and provide theoretical reference for each team to grasp the passing time to spike time during training.Through the research, the following conclusions are drawn:1.The fastest close-body pass time is 0.44s,followed by short flat-fast,back-fast,back-row 3,4 flat-open,2 flat-open,back-row 2 back-seat pass to spike the longest time is 1.11s;the best offensive effect is back-row 3,followed by back-fast,short flat-fast,near-body fast,2 flat-open,back-row 2.The worst offensive effect is to open the 4th position horizontally. The shorter the time from passing to spiking, the higher the frequency of the formation of single blocking, the better the offensive effect. The longer the time from passing to spiking, the higher the frequency of the formation of double block, the worse the attack effect.2.There is no correlation between the time of close-body fast passing to spike and the effect of attack. There is a low correlation between the time of short flat-fast passing to spike and the effect of attack. There is a moderate correlation between the time from passing to spiking in the back row 2,3,2 and 4.There is a high correlation between the kick time and the attack effect.3.The 4 flat-open and 2 flat-open in the short, medium and long three passes to spike time stage the better the offensive effect and the higher the requirement of the time from passing to spiking.Short flat, back row 2 and back row 3 in the short, medium and long three passes to spike time stage, pass to spike time can reach a certain range, not necessarily the shorter the better.4.The whole offensive play from passing to spiking takes a long time, including the back row 2,2 and 4 flat open.the longer the pass to spike time, the higher the frequency of double block;and the longer the pass to spike time, the other side can form an effective block, the offensive effect is also poor. The whole offensive play from passing to spiking takes a short time, including the back-row 3 and short flat-fast.The length of time from passing to spiking has little influence on the number of blockers, and it is difficult for the opponent to form an effective double blocking in different time periods from passing to spiking, and the number of blockers formed by the opponent has little influence on the attack effect.
