There are many urgent problems to be solved in the teaching of calligraphy in primary schools: lack of in-depth knowledge,unreasonable curriculum,ambiguous teaching objectives,and lack of an integrate teaching system of calligraphy.By reading books,collecting information of calligraphy education on the Internet and sorting out library calligraphy materials,some problems are found that Ouyang Xu's regular script is in the primary stage of calligraphy teaching in primary schools.The writing techniques involved in the teaching content are relatively simple,the writing techniques need to be improved in richness,and the students' interest in learning calligraphy is not strong.This study conducted a questionnaire survey on the applicability of Ouyang Xu's regular script that are teaching in the second grade of primary school,interviewed the calligraphy teachers in school about the current situation of calligraphy teaching,summed up the importance of Ouyang Xu's regular script in the second grade of primary school calligraphy teaching,and designed a teaching plan suitable for teaching practice.The program listed eight basic types of Ouyang Xu's regular script and summarizes the methods by which how to standardize the basic strokes of Ouyang Xu's regular script.According to relative teaching experience and teaching cases,this study carried out the teaching activities of Ouyang Xu's regular script for the second-grade students in primary schools.During the whole teaching process,through the study of the applicability of Ouyang Xu's regular script for the second-grade calligraphy teaching in primary schools,it is also proved that Ouyang Xu's regular script is suitable for primary school calligraphy teaching,and the conclusion that Ouyang Xu's regular script teaching makes students' books can be reached.Writing is more standardized,and students' writing skills have been improved.At the same time,the teaching content of Ouyang Xu's regular script also meets the conclusion of students' standardized writing needs.The author organizes the students to study Ouyang Xu's regular script in the form of group.In the teaching practice,the author designs the link of students' self-explanation,the link of students' works display,thelink of self-evaluation and mutual evaluation,which stimulates the students' enthusiasm to participate in the classroom,and at the same time increases the students' sense of achievement and pride in learning calligraphy.In this study,Ouyang Xu's regular script calligraphy teaching not only enriches students' writing skills and avoids the singleness of writing skills,but also further improves the teaching system of Ouyang Xu's regular script,making Ouyang Xu's regular script writing suitable for primary school calligraphy teaching.
