Research On College Students' Political Awareness Education

China is in the midst of a period of social reform,with intensified contradictions at home and abroad,complex and diverse value orientations,which urgently need to strengthen political awareness education.As the main force of social construction,college students should put their political consciousness relate to the modernization process of our country.Strengthening the education of college students' political awareness is a theme of the development of the times,and also an important content of college education,in line with the needs of the national reserved talents.In the new era,the political consciousness of college students has richer connotations and characteristics,which is a comprehensive reflection of the political cognition,attitude and belief of college students in a certain period.Through questionnaires and interviews,it can be seen that the mainstream consciousness of college students is in good condition,political emotions are relatively strong,and political behaviors are more positive.However,college students also have negative and wrong thoughts,which hinders their political behavior.The survey found that the political awareness education in colleges and universities has the problems of boring education content,monotonous education mode,and uncoordinated relationship between education subject and object.It is necessary to further improve the teaching mode.At the same time,the shortcomings of the market economy,the Western bad social thoughts,the traditional education model and the lack of the development of college students themselves are the main reasons for the lack of effective political education for college students.Colleges and universities should adhere to the “three combinations”principle,pay attention to the combination of explicit education and recessive education,pay attention to the combination of theoretical education and practical education,and focus on the combination of rigid management and flexible management;they also strengthen the content of education,strengthen the core values of socialism,the Chinese Dream,“four self-confidences”,improve educational methods,exerting the traction role of the mass media,creating a healthy and upward campus environment,broadening the channels of practice,coordinating the relationship between the subject and the object of education,and playing the role of positive psychological education political consciousness of college students.
