At present,it is at the critical stage of the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation in the world and the opportunity period of China's industrial upgrading and economic development transformation.The state and governments at all levels generally recognize the profound impetus of the Internet and emerging information technology for China's future development,have introduced relevant policies and development plans.In the field of education,some provinces are also actively trying programming education and artificial intelligence education in primary and secondary schools,trying to improve the information literacy of students and reserve talents for future development.Based on the domestic and international environment and the profound changes in the secondary education technology field,this study investigates the ICT use and information literacy level of middle school students in Chongqing.And The relationship between ICT use and information literacy level of the middle school students was analyzed and discussed through using the methods of latent profile analysis,multiple logistic regression,and analysis of variance,and the following three conclusions were drawn.(1)This study uses latent profile analysis to explore the latent categories of ICT use for middle school students and identifies four categories of ICT use,which include ICT use moderate group,ICT use deficiency group,ICT use entertainment group,and ICT use universal group.(2)Based on the latent profile analysis,this study uses a multivariate logistic regression method,make the 1st category of "ICT use moderate group" as a reference group,and consider the influencing factors affecting the latent categories of ICT use of middle school students from demographic variables,ICT-related information variables,and ICT motivation variables.The results show that the factors affecting middle school students entering the 2nd category of "ICT use deficiency group" are:boys,lower grades,poor family economic conditions,The average daily time of using the Internet and the frequency of using computers are low;the factors affecting middle school students entering the 3rd category of "ICT use entertainment group" are:low level of family economics,low computer use frequency,and insufficient confidence in handling the ICT-related advanced tasks,strong interest of ICT;the factors affecting the entry of middle school students into the 4th category of "ICT use universal group" are:the age of the network of 1 to 2 years,the high frequency of using computers,and the strong self-efficacy and of interest ICT.(3)Finally,the study also analyzed the differences in information literacy among middle school students in different ICT use categories.In the scores of the first class of information awareness and cognition and its second class and the second class of information's creation and innovation,the score of ICT use universal group is the highest.the entertainment groups scored the highest in the total scores of information literacy and the scores of other first class and their second class.The insufficient group scored the lowest in the total score and all the first and second class.There are two reasons for this result:First,ICT use universal groups have lower grade students,whose knowledge and skills of ICT are short in learning time and poor in level;the second is due to the item settings of the information literacy level assessment tool used in this study.Through the conclusions of this study,combined with expert advice,this study puts forward the following suggestions:schools and teachers should pay attention to different teaching in ICT education,of middle school and teach students in accordance with their aptitude;parents should actively guide children to enhance their self-control over surfing online and cultivate the habit of utilizing internet healthy;schools,teachers and parents should actively guide students to use ICT to learn and improve learning efficiency;relevant education departments should accelerate the pace of informatization of education,and provide an environment for students to use ICT to learn within the school.
