Critical thinking is the basis and premise of innovative thinking.Under the background of vigorously promoting the construction of an "innovative country",how to cultivate students' critical thinking in teaching.It has become an important problem to be paid attention to and solved urgently by educational administrative departments and educators in our country.It is clearly pointed out in the Biology Curriculum Standard of Senior High School(2017)that students should be trained in a variety of learning thinking modes,including induction and generalization,deduction and reasoning,modeling and modeling,and critical thinking.It can be seen that it is necessary to cultivate students' critical thinking in biology teaching.Biology is an experiment-based subject.Experiment is not only the basis of the whole biology teaching,but also an important way to cultivate students' ability to solve problems and an effective means to help students understand the basic concepts and principles of biology.Therefore,if we want to bring critical thinking into biology teaching,biology experiment classroom teaching has become a good choice.This study mainly investigates the critical thinking ability of senior high school students in Guangzhou and the present situation of critical thinking training in biological experiment teaching by means of questionnaire survey and teacher interview.The questionnaire includes student questionnaire and teacher questionnaire.The student questionnaire mainly studies from the seven dimensions of critical thinking,and the teacher questionnaire mainly carries out the investigation and research from four aspects: the cultivation consciousness of critical thinking,the teaching ability of biology experiment,the cultivation situation and the teaching method.The purpose of teacher interview is to understand the understanding of critical thinking of senior high school biology teachers,the obstacles of cultivating critical thinking in biology experiment classroom and the effective ways to cultivate critical thinking.The results of questionnaire survey and teacher interview show that the level of critical thinking ability of senior high school students is in the middle and lower level,and the ability of seeking truth is the lowest among the seven dimensions.Most teachers think that it is effective and feasible tocultivate students' critical thinking in the experimental classroom,but most teachers have low enthusiasm for cultivating students' critical thinking,and the classroom teaching of biology experiment is boring.In view of the analysis of the above survey results and drawing lessons from the previous summary of the teaching mode of critical thinking training,this study establishes the teaching mode of critical thinking training in biology experiment classroom.And this teaching mode is applied to practical teaching.In this study,the teaching case of exploring the breathing mode of yeast was designed to cultivate students' critical thinking.After three months of teaching practice research in Guangzhou Tieyi Middle School(Yuexiu),the changes of students' critical thinking ability were investigated through the questionnaire of critical thinking ability of Senior High School students.The changes of biological achievement and the results of listening course evaluation of biology teachers in school are analyzed.the results show that the teaching mode of critical thinking in biology experiment can improve students' critical thinking ability.The relationship between the improvement of students' critical thinking ability and biological achievement needs to be further explored,and the teaching effect of critical thinking teaching mode of biological experiment is good.To sum up,this study tries to combine the characteristics of biology experiment classroom with the cultivation of students' critical thinking mode,train students to dare to question,think independently,be diligent in solving problems,carefully analyze complex problems and other critical thinking qualities.Looking forward to the future research,we will constantly improve the teaching mode of cultivating students' critical thinking in biology experiment classroom,and constantly explore and perfect the teaching mode suitable for cultivating students' critical thinking in biology classroom in our country.And then cultivate students' critical thinking.
