The Research On Systematic Applicable Analysis And Comparison At Home And Abroad Of Hawk-eye Challenge System In The First Year Of China Volleyball League

The hawk-eye challenge system has played a key role in modern sporting events since it was invented by the Englishman Paul Hawkins.With the official introduction of hawk-eye system in the 13 th national games of China and the Chinese Volleyball League in 2016-2017 season,it has brought significant influence on referee decisions,team interests,audience attention and the fairness of matches.The Chinese professional Volleyball League officially changed its name to "Chinese Super Volleyball League" in 2017-2018,also known as "Chinese Volleyball Super League year one".The competition system,financial level,number of matches,transfer system and other aspects have brought a new look,and the hawk-eye challenge system still plays an important role in the competition.The purpose of this article is to analyze the first year of Chinese Volleyball Super League hawk-eye challenge system usage and hawk-eye challenge system in the league,and use of eagle eye in international competitions and challenges of comparative analysis,through the comparison,can more fully understand the domestic hawk-eye challenge system using actual situation in the premiership,discover problems and find the need to improve,let everybody have a further understanding of hawk-eye challenge system.In this paper,the hawk-eye challenge data of 270 valid competitions in the first year of Chinese volleyball competition were counted by mathematical statistics method.In addition,the challenge data of 20 key matches in the third stage of the first year of Chinese Volleyball Super League and the challenge data of the Volleyball Nations League finals were selected for comparative analysis,respectively from the challenge number,challenge type,challenge success rate,challenge time and tactical challenge.Through analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:The overall hawk eye challenge frequency in the first year of Chinese Volleyball Super League was 1,075 times,with the average challenge frequency of 3.98 times per game.The greatest number of inbounds/foul ball challenges was 39.44%;The overall challenge success rate was 37.95%,and the average challenge time was 55.54 s.The domestic hawk-eye challenge system can ensure the fairness of the Chinese Volleyball Super League,bring power to the referees,promote the athletes' ability of emotional self-regulation and improve the coaching level of coaches,and further improve thecommercial value of the advertisements in the matches.The most challenging items in the first year of the Chinese Volleyball Super League and the Volleyball Nations League are "ball in/out" and "ball touch/off the block",and there is no significant difference in the number of challenges.The domestic challenge success rate is 45.14%,the challenge time is mainly 31 s to 60 s,the international success rate is 31.09%,the challenge time is mainly 1s to 30 s,there are significant differences in the success rate and challenge time between the two.In the first year of the Chinese Volleyball Super League there are still some problems in the coordination between referees and hawk eye operators,and the system stability needs to be improved.The hawk-eye system in the domestic volleyball league lacks a "floor touch" challenge.
