With the development of our country's economy,the pace of rural labor transfer to cities is accelerating,and the number of young and middle-aged migrant workers is increasing.A large number of young and middle-aged people in rural areas migrate to the city,but the high cost of living in the city forces a large number of migrant parents to choose to leave their children in rural areas under the care of grandparents,leaving children in rural areas to become "left-behind children".In the vast rural areas where public services are relatively scarce,"left-behind children" are far away from their parents' care,and their growth process has some common problems such as social adaptation and social integration.Sports games play an active role in children's psychological characteristics such as cognition,emotion,will and behavior,as well as individual socialization.Exploring and practicing sports games as an experiential teaching method has certain research value for the cultivation of Left-behind children's social adaptability in rural areas.Integrating the concept of experiential teaching into physical education teaching and showing it in the way of games will find effective ways to improve the social adaptability of left-behind children in rural areas,achieve the purpose of improving the social adaptability of Left-behind children,and have certain theoretical and practical significance for physical education teachers to enrich teaching content and teaching methods.This study takes the influence of sports games on the social adaptability of left-behind children in rural areas as the research object.By using the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview and mathematical statistics,the demographic survey was carried out among all the students in grade 4-6 of Meiqiao Primary School and Meiqiao Middle School in Meiqiao Town,Xiangxiang City.Then,representatives were selected from Meiqiao Primary School and Meiqiao Middle School in Meiqiao Town,Xiangxiang City.Ninety-six and eighty-four left-behind children were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,48 students in experimental group and 48 students in control group,42 students in experimental group and 42 students in control group.The experimental study on 12-week intervention of sports games and routine teaching of physical education was carried out respectively.The following conclusions were drawn:(1)The proportion of left-behind children in rural areas of Xiangxiang City is relatively high.The lack of parents' accompanying has a great impact on the psychological and social adaptability of left-behind children in Xiangxiang City,and has produced a bad phenomenon of indulgence in mobile phones and weariness of learning.In addition,left-behind children in rural areas are not very aware of and interested in physical exercise.(2)After 12 weeks of sports games intervention,sports games can improve the overall social adaptability of left-behind children in primary and junior middle schools,and the impact of sports games intervention on the social adaptability of left-behind children in rural areas is significant.(3)After 12 weeks of intervention by sports games,sports games have improved the social adaptability of left-behind children in primary and junior middle schools in four dimensions: interpersonal communication ability,learning adaptability,frustration tolerance and social cognitive ability,and all of them have significant significance.
