| Chemistry experiment is an indispensable and important part of the middle school chemistry teaching course.It contains rich education and guidance.In the current reform of the new middle school chemistry curriculum,the important position of the chemistry experiment in the curriculum setting is clearly pointed out,but there are still some problems in the actual process of implementing the chemistry experiment teaching in the middle school.For example,due to many practical reasons such as the pressure of college entrance examination,laboratory facilities,experimental funds,curriculum and high risk factors of some experiments,some experiments can not be carried out and the forms of chemical experiments that can be carried out are often relatively simple.Demonstration experiments are the main ones.In the classroom teaching,students mostly observe and study,and there are fewer opportunities for hands-on experiments.Micro-chemistry experiments mainly refer to the use of chemical reagents in chemical experiments in miniaturized instruments.The amount of reagents used is more than 90% less than that of conventional experiments,but the same accurate chemical information can be obtained.The emergence of micro-chemistry experiments and the application in middle school will improve this situation,let the chemistry teaching experiment truly play an stimulating role in students’ interest inlearning,and actively cultivate middle school students’ brave innovation consciousness and hands-on operation ability.The research work of this paper analyzes and summarizes the literatures related to micro-chemistry experiments in middle schools in recent years,and compares them with the relevant statistics ten years ago.It summarizes the development and changes of micro-chemistry experiments in middle schools in China for more than ten years.And the current shortcomings of the micro-chemistry experiment in middle school are analyzed.Based on Rogers’ humanistic learning theory,constructivist learning theory and Dewey’s educational thoughts,based on the scientific,green,student-oriented,interesting,open,innovative and practical design principles,the reaction between sodium and water,the reaction between sodium and chlorine,the preparation of ethyl acetate,and the original High-tech chemistry experiments such as battery experiments,sulfur dioxide production and properties experiments,copper and concentrated nitric acid reactions,acetylene preparation and property testing experiments,chlorine gas preparation and property testing were carried out.Subsequently,the application research of micro-chemistry experiments was carried out.Micro-chemistry experiments were introduced in the classroom teaching of 829 classes of Hunan First Normal University.The main contents included three contents: visual demonstration of thedemonstration experiment using WeChat video projection,and the use of micro-experimental instruments to arrange students experiments,as well as home-study experiments after class,allow students to find equipment,design and experiment.Through practical research and analysis of the results of students pretest and post test,we found that micro-chemistry experiment teaching has good effects in increasing students’ classroom participation and students’ interest in learning chemistry,and improving students’ practical ability;the method of visually magnifying the video projection is operability,convenient to use,and good visual effect.Through comparison with specific conventional chemistry experiments,we also found that high school chemical micro-experiments have their own unique advantages,such as it has more reagents and lower experimental costs,which is conducive to the promotion of experiments in schools with relatively backward economic conditions;it brings less environmental pollution and higher safety factor,which is conducive to cultivating students’ concept of green chemistry and environmental awareness.Micro-chemistry experiments are more interesting,and students will have more hands-on opportunities,which is conducive to cultivating students’ hands-on ability.The phenomenon is obvious,saving time and having better teaching effect. |
