Chemistry is a science which is based on experiments.Experimental teaching plays an important role in chemistry teaching for high school. In classroom teaching, teachers' demonstration experiments help students better understand the nature of materials and master the laws of chemistry. However,in practical teaching, due to the limitation of the teaching environment or the problems in the experimental process, the teaching is not effective enough. With the continuous development of education informatization, modern equipment has made up for the inadequacies of traditional teaching tools and it has promoted the renewal of teaching forms. The use of information-based teaching resources has been valued by educators, which is used to solve the problems of demonstration experiment teaching,to inspire students' interest in learning and to improve the efficiency of classroom teaching. Therefore, high school chemistry experiments are proposed to demonstrate the development and application of micro video resources. The main purpose is to develop some resources that are conducive to chemistry teaching from the aspects of demonstrating experimental micro video and facilitate the chemistry experimental teaching of high school.Through understanding the application basis of demonstration experiment micro-video resources in high school chemistry teaching, the current status of construction of video teaching resources for chemical experiment teaching in China is analyzed. Then, questionnaires on teachers are conducted to understand the development of high school chemistry demonstration experiments and the use of experimental videos.Based on the principles of construction learning theory,micro-learning theory,audio-visual teaching theory, and multimedia learning and cognition theory, the three major parts of video resources in chemistry demonstration experiments in textbooks are combed and summarized: the operation and elements of basic chemistry experiments, the compound nature of the inquiry experiment, the module knowledge experiments of science inquiry and the science perspective in the textbooks. The five principles for the high school chemistry demonstration experiment micro video resource design must be followed: scientific principle, time effectiveness principle, and fragmentation principle Principles of subjectivity and practicality. The process of recording and editing a new demo experimentmicro video using micro video production technology is illustrated with an example. In order to test the feasibility and effectiveness of the demonstration experiment micro video developed in practical teaching, the 14 th class and 15 th class of the high school of YuLin No.1 Middle School were taken as the research object, and a semester practice study was conducted.Through the interview process and the questionnaire survey method, the practical effect of this topic was analyzed. The development of the experimental demonstration video focused on the changes of the teacher's teaching, the student's performance, and the students' experimental skills. The following conclusions have been drawn: The development and application of the experimental demonstration video will help improve the teacher's experimental teaching effect, promote students' mastery of experimental knowledge and skills, and improve their academic performance. In other words, the chemical demonstration experiment micro-video produced by us is effective for improving teachers' teaching effectiveness and student learning ability.Due to limitations in research time, limitations of research content, and limitations of researchers' own energy and ability, this research still has some deficiencies. Therefore, the micro-video resources for demonstration experiments need to be further refined and implemented in the future.
