Malaysia is a multi-racial,multi-religious and multi-cultural country.Its colonial history of more than 300 years has made it isolated among different races and backward in education.However,since independence in 1957,moral education in Malaysia has been continuously developed under the high attention of the government,and now a complete education system of core values has been formed in primary school.Under the background of " The Belt and Road" initiative,it is of profound theoretical and practical significance to study the development status of moral education in Malaysian national primary schools.On the one hand,it is helpful to fill the knowledge gap of moral education in countries along the " The Belt and Road",make some theoretical contributions to the research of ideological and political education in China,and contribute to the construction of the "great ideological and political" system.On the other hand,it is also helpful for us to broaden the horizon of moral education,so as to promote the new development of moral education in China.In view of this,on the basis of using interviews and literature materials to obtain relevant materials,this paper analyzes and studies the current situation of the development of moral education in Malaysia's national primary schools,summarizes the main experience and main problems in its development,and draws the thinking and inspiration about the construction of moral education work.Firstly,this study based on the development of moral education in Malaysia,introduces its complex colonial history and pluralistic social environment.It also divides the formation and development process of moral education in Malaysia into three periods,which lays a research foundation for the systematic elaboration of the current development situation of moral education in primary schools in Malaysia.Secondly,it systematically discusses the development status of moral education in Malaysia's national primary schools,including the related goals of moral education in Malaysia's national primary schools,the specific content and teaching standards of the 14 core values in the primary school stage,the main implementation methods of moral education practice and the effect evaluation methods.Thirdly,in above of Malaysia's national development status of primary school moral education,on the basis of detailed analysis,this study summarizes the moral education in the way of classified guidance,construct the education system of core values on the basis of multi-culture,set up moral education full-time instructors,use the practice exercise way to stimulate the student main body consciousness and so on main experience of the development of the national primary school moral education in Malaysia.It also points out that the moral education course is taught by teachers of other subjects and some students have some disconnection between cognition and behavior and other main problems.Finally,based on the actual situation in China,this study reflects on the main experience and problems in the development of moral education in Malaysia's national primary schools,and draws the following inspirations: The relationship between religion and moral education should be handled correctly according to the national conditions,core values education should be strengthened based on excellent traditional culture,and the effectiveness of moral education should be improved.
