Honesty is the basis of every person.Every college student should obey the moral norm of honesty.However,the phenomenon of college students' dishonesty is relatively universal in our colleges,which has already generated the academic dishonesty sub-culture.This sub-culture is in conflict with the dominant culture of cultivating morality and training talents in colleges.It affects the construction of learning atmosphere in colleges and abates the quality of talent training in higher education.More meticulous researches on how to manage the college students' academic dishonesty effectively need to be done.This thesis takes the undergraduate students as the main objects to research the problem of academic dishonesty which is from the unique perspective of Educational Culturology.In this research,questionnaire survey is used to investigate 450 undergraduate students and interview method is used to interview 8 college teachers from four colleges in Guizhou province on the basis of the literature research method,to explore the status of undergraduate students' academic dishonesty sub-culture,the causes of academic dishonesty,then the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are given on these bases.The college students' academic dishonesty sub-culture shows its diversities from several aspects like forms of expression,participants and the tool carriers,etc.The main reasons for the formation of college students' academic dishonesty sub-culture are in the following three aspects in colleges.The specific situation of teachers' culture is as follows.A few teachers misconduct in academic and they are less severe in punishing college students' academic dishonesty behaviors.Besides,they put much more emphasis on their scientific researches and less on teaching.Their legal knowledge and regulations related to academic honesty are insufficient,and they don't have a comprehensive evaluation for college students.The workload of teachers has been increased,which has weakened the pertinence of teachers to deal with the college students' academic dishonesty behaviors since the Mass Higher Education,and the teachers are weak on cultivating academic honesty culture.These problems may contribute to the growth of college students' academic dishonesty sub-culture or are not conducive to curbing it.The specific situation of the curricula culture in colleges is as follows.The setting of the manifest curricula focuses on the ‘instrumental' and ‘utilitarian',and there are difficulties in the development and implementation of the hidden curricula related to the academic honesty culture.The activities of hidden curricula are rare,the hidden curricula of material form on the academic honesty culture are not enough,all above are not conducive to preventing the growth of college students' honesty culture through the curricula culture.The specific situation of students' culture is as follows.The inclination of a few college students' own values becomes the internal cultural origin of the formation on the academic dishonesty sub-culture under the influence of materialism and money worship.Part of the students are apathetic,their attitudes towards the other students' academic dishonesty behaviors are indifferent,as well as peer support,have contributed to the occurrence of college students' academic dishonesty behaviors.It is a reasonable choice to govern the college students' academic dishonesty sub-culture with the cultural construction.First,we should cultivate the values of college students' honesty,absorb the essences of traditional Chinese culture,enhance the proportion of academic honesty culture curriculum,learn from the excellent foreign culture to strengthen the spiritual and cultural construction related to academic honesty.Second,we should strengthen the behavior culture construction of college students' academic honesty with the teachers playing a leading role in honest behavior,student associations' assimilation,models' incentive function and vigilance from the negative examples.Third,we should clearly standardize the content of academic honesty institution,effectively carry out the institution of academic honesty,and innovate the performance of academic honesty institution to strengthen the institutional culture of college students' academic honesty.Finally,it is necessary to pay attention to the construction of material culture in colleges,excavate the cultural connotation of honesty,highlight the function of the library cultivating honesty culture,strengthen the monitoring and testing equipments and technology applications,play instrumental and auxiliary role of the material culture in governing college students' academic dishonesty sub-culture to create a healthy campus environment for the construction of academic honesty culture.
