As the economy and society keep rapid development,and the process of urbanization has been accelerating,an increasing number of migrant workers rush into cities for developing.To pursue a better life,migrant workers tend to bring their families to the city.Meanwhile,they are faced with many unfavorable situations like heavy pressure from life,constraints of economic conditions and difficulty in integrating into the city.Moreover,problems of education for families followed.Most previous researches focused on the problems for migrant children in learning,integration and safety education,but few researches considered family education for migrant teenagers.At the National Education Conference,General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized that families,schools,governments and the society should all take the responsibility to do a good job in education.Family is the first school for a life,and parents should give the "first lesson in life" well.As the basic unit of socialization,family should play their due role.Concepts,methods and behaviors of family education adopted by parents will have a direct impact on children's growth and development.It is quite necessary and of strong practical significance to carry out research on family education for migrant teenagers,especially on the intervention of social work.This study took migrant teenagers from Guiyang X School and their parents as the object,and got to know the current situation of family education for teenagers through questionnaires,interview and observation,and then analyzed the problems on this basis.The survey showed that families of migrant teenagers from X School have more or less problems in family education,such as "no beat,no talent","excessive emphasis on mentality","depending on school" and other inappropriate educational concepts,simple and rude methods in family education,insufficient communication and investment in family education.These issues provided a direction for social work to intervene in family education.In the end,the study started from the perspective of social work,and took the family education for migrant teenagers as the entry point to carry out case and group work practices.Under the guidance of Erikson's theory,family system theory andsocial support theory,combining the general methods and group methods for family social work,the study was to assist migrant families to promote communication among family members,improve family relationships,and to make parents learn to give scientific and effective family education and explore effective and suitable family education methods together with children.After the intervention of case work and group work,the study tested the service effect through process evaluation and result evaluation,adjusted the service progress,promoted the development of the practical work,and laid the foundation for the subsequent reflection and summary.Meanwhile,this study hoped to provide some practical experience of family education for the migrant teenagers on the basis of practical and theoretical reflection,and further enrich the practical fields of social work in teenagers and families.
