As an indispensable and important content of quality education,fine arts education plays an irreplaceable role in enhancing aesthetic accomplishment,enriching spiritual world,cultivating innovative consciousness and promoting all-round development of teenagers.However,in specific teaching practice,due to the influence of various subjective and objective factors,the function and significance of art education have not received enough attention,which has affected the in-depth promotion of the new teaching reform to some extent,and also affected the overall development of students.Primary school is the initial stage of one's education.Good art education plays a positive role in cultivating students' aesthetic ability,creativity,enriching students' emotion,cultivating students' thinking ability and improving their moral cognition ability.In primary school,art education is oriented to all students and is universal.Therefore,the learning right of every student should be guaranteed in teaching,so that every student can enjoy the opportunity of art education.We should improve students' humanistic emotional spirit and aesthetic ability through art education,instead of only satisfying students' teaching contents such as painting or handwork.We should pay attention to the mobilization of students' interest and the improvement of their appreciation ability in art teaching in primary schools,so as to promote the comprehensive development of primary students.Through art knowledge teaching,let students learn the basic knowledge of art appreciation,improve students' aesthetic ability.Teachers should practice the "student-centered" educational thought,often carry out multimedia teaching,outdoor teaching,innovative teaching material content and other forms,so as to let students understand art,establish a positive attitude of art learning,the correct method,improve the overall level of quality education.In order to implement the rules of art education in schools and the development plan of national art education,it is necessary to strengthen the development of teaching materials,curriculum arrangement and the construction of art teachers for art courses,and improve the teaching level of art education in primary schools.However,art education in primary schools in ethnic minority areas bears more responsibilities and missions.We should not only carry out art teaching in a universal sense,but also shoulder the responsibility of inheriting and developing national art culture.The research on art education in ethnic areas has a more profound significance.However,according to the current situation,courses related to folk traditional culture account for a very small proportion in the curriculum arrangement of ethnic primary schools,and even fewer courses involving local traditional culture.Although this aspect has been paid great attention by the state and education circles in recent years,it has formed the cooperation with colleges and universities to develop art education courses.Let students go out and communicate with local folk artists and other representative attempts,but compared with the rich ethnic art resources,it is far from enough.Many students have not been exposed to traditional folk culture in class during the whole primary school learning process.From the present practice of fine arts teaching in daozhen gelao miao autonomous county,guizhou province,it is found that the introduction of fine arts teaching to ethnic resources is not enough.In this paper,literature research method,case analysis method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and other research methods are mainly used in the research.It is hoped that through extensive collection of data,first-hand information can be obtained for in-depth understanding of the current situation of art teaching in primary schools in ethnic minority areas,so as to improve the pertinency of analyzing and solving problems.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which discusses the background and significance of the research as well as the literature review at home and abroad,so as to make a good layout for the research.The second part discusses the present situation of art teaching in primary schools in minority areas of guizhou,which is the main chapter of this paper.First of all,by discussing art education and the growth of primary school students,the goal,function and significance of art education in primary schools are analyzed to fully demonstrate the necessity and importance of improving the quality of art education in primary schools.Taking three schools of daozhen gelao and miao autonomous county in guizhou province as examples,the present situation of fine arts teaching in primary schools of daozhen gelao and miao autonomous county in guizhou province was investigated by means of questionnaire and interview.The third part from the aspects of teaching concept,teachers,curriculum,education evaluation and local teaching material development aspects to analyze the elementary school fine arts teaching the existing problems of guizhou ethnic areas,points out that the reason causing the problem with ideas of recognition,not enough to improve the quality of teachers,teaching and reform in-depth,lagging evaluation mechanism and insufficient attention of national resources into art education,etc.The fourth part from changes the thought idea,sets up the modern education idea;Strengthen the training of teachers and improve the teaching ability;Promote teaching reform and improve the opening rate of art courses;To change the existing evaluation mechanism and develop local curriculum,enrich the teaching content,put forward countermeasures and Suggestions to optimize the art education in primary schools,and discuss how to highlight the application of national cultural resources in art education,demonstrate specific working ideas with the teaching case design model,and reflect the practicality of research results.The fifth part is the research conclusion,which summarizes the research results of the whole paper,analyzes the deficiencies in the research,and clarifies the direction to further promote the research work in relevant fields.
