Research On The Transformation Of Students Work Mode Of China University Of Petroleum

As we enter the 21 st century,Chinese higher education transits from “elite education” to “popular education”,from compulsory education and overall planning in the planned economy to market economy today with double choose between supply and demand,the internationalization and informatization of higher education accelerated.The pressure of university students increases when facing with employment,thus the education,management and development modes of university students urgently need to change and adjust to meet the requirements of social development from college students.As an important part of the education,the management and development of university student affairs couldn't meet the demand of the development of students,so the pattern of student affairs urgently need to change.Formed in the late 1980 s,based on education and management,student affairs in China University of Petroleum(East China)adapted to the requirements of social development from college students at that time,having trained tens of thousands qualified,professional,hard-working and dedicated university graduates for China's petroleum and petrochemical industries.But as the marketization of higher education employment,the job market requires more.Under additional influences like diversification of the self-development of university students,internationalization of higher education,global economic integration and so forth,the present pattern cannot satisfy the demands of students.In this paper,based on the trend of development of higher education and demands of university students,from the aspects of working philosophy,organization structure,job content and practitioners,the research is dedicated to building a new pattern of student affairs to satisfy the demands of development of higher education,job market for university graduates and self-development of university students.
