The Current Socialist Concept Of Integrity Education For College Students

Since the reform and opening up,great changes have taken place in our society.In such a special period of rapid social transformation,the intensified class differentiation and prominent social contradictions lead to the confusion,misunderstanding and the tendency of loss among the public,especially the college students.College students are the successors of national construction and important forces to promote social progress.Their outlook on world,life and values will directly affect the value orientation of the whole society.On the May 4th Youth Day in 2014,President Xi jinping says in his speech at Peking University,“ The value orientation of young people determines that of the whole society in the future,and young people are in the period of forming and building values at present,so it is very important to pay special attention to the cultivation of values in this period.” Therefore,it is particularly important to educate college students on the concept of socialist integrity.This is not only the inherent requirement for college students to cultivate and practice socialist core values,but also one of the ways to regulate college students' thoughts and behaviors.Based on a systematic study of integrity education at home and abroad,the thesis takes the education of socialist integrity among college students as the main research content,and analyzes the education of socialist integrity among college students in an all-round way.To begin with,the definition of relevant concepts are given in the first part,which extends from the connotation,function and role of integrity to the connotation,function and role of integrity,and then clarifies the difference and connection between the socialist and the capitalist,laying a foundation for the exploration and analysis of the current socialist concept of integrity education for college students.Then an in-depth analysis is conducted,which is of the significance and value of socialist integrity education for college students from such five aspects as the socialist market economic system,achieving the "two centenary" goals,building a harmonious socialist society,practicing the socialist core values and promoting the overall development of the value.Furthermore,the thesis follows to elaborate the current situation of socialist integrity education of college students in spite of the effects,the existing problems and their causes.At the end of the thesis,aiming at the problems mentioned above,the methods and strategies of socialist integrity education of college students are expounded.
