The historical nihilism trend of thought in our country is in the sediment.It confuses people by wantonly distorting and negating history.It causes some college students to misjudge history and endangers the ideological security of our country.A nation will prosper only when its young people thrive.To become qualified socialist builders and successors,college students must establish correct historical outlook and values,clearly oppose historical nihilism and firmly adhere to correct historical beliefs.Historical outlook is people’s view of history,it is part of the world outlook,contemporary college students to establish a correct outlook on history must firmly adhere to the fundamental position of historical materialism.Therefore,under the guidance of historical materialism,it is a research subject of great theoretical and practical significance to deeply study the objectives and contents of cultivating the correct historical outlook of contemporary college students,to explore the outstanding problems existing in cultivating the correct historical outlook of contemporary college students,and to analyze the countermeasures to improve the cultivating effect of the correct historical outlook of contemporary college students.On the basis of inheriting the existing research in academic circles,this paper attempts to carry out research from four aspects.The first part introduces the relevant theories of the cultivation of contemporary college students’ correct view of history.This paper first discusses the connotation and characteristics of the cultivation of correct historical view of contemporary college students,and then analyzes the components of the cultivation of correct historical view of contemporary college students from the perspectives of historical materialism,historical cognition,historical culture and historical evaluation.Secondly,it establishes the goal of cultivating contemporary college students’ correct view of history,that is,adhering to the basic principles of historical materialism to understand history,mastering systematic and comprehensive historical knowledge,establishing the attitude of seeking truth from facts to evaluate history,and enhancing college students’ sense of historical responsibility and mission.At last,it analyzes the theoretical value and practical significance of the cultivation of contemporary correct historical view from the perspectives of the state,society,universities and individuals.The second part studies the content of the cultivation of contemporary college students’ correct view of history.This part mainly carries on the elaboration from four dimensions.The education of historical materialism should strengthen the basic viewpoint that social existence determines social consciousness,strengthen the viewpoint of basic social contradiction and its development rule,insist that material production is the foundation of social life,and emphasize that the masses are the creators of history.Historical cognition education,national history education,party history education,reform and opening up history education.History and culture education,excellent traditional culture education,red revolution culture education.The historical appraisal education,the objective appraisal historical personage,dialectically treats the traditional culture.Through the education of historical materialism,historical cognition,historical culture and historical evaluation,college students are expected to form a correct historical concept.The third part studies the outstanding problems and causes of the cultivation of contemporary college students’ correct view of history.This part of the questionnaire survey as the main method to interview is complementary,to explore the main problems of contemporary college students correct conception of cultivation,analysis the main four prominent problems,some educators to ignore history cultivation,history education resources use thorough development,the path of diverse education inadequate history,college students cultural quality is low,and from the society,colleges and universities,and individual three aspects has carried on the deep analysis of the reasons.The fourth part discusses the countermeasures to strengthen the cultivation of contemporary college students’ correct view of history.Correct conception of cultivating existing problems and the reasons for college students,this part from educators,education resources,way of education,education environment and discussing the four dimensions,namely improve educators about the importance of correct conception ofcultivation,integration and utilization of contemporary college students history breed resources,broaden the contemporary college students’ correct view path,optimization of contemporary college students the correct version of history to foster the social environment,to improve the effect of contemporary college students correct conception of cultivation.
