A large number of studies have shown that students are influenced by life experience and practice, and form concepts which are contrary to scientific conceptions in their minds before receiving science education, these wrong conceptions are called misconceptions. The misconception will have a negative impact on students' learning, which lead to a significant reduction in teaching effect.High school students have received many misconceptions in mechanics module,it is particularly important to change the misconceptions in students' minds in a timely and effective way."5E" teaching model is one of the teaching models of conceptual change. In this study,"5E" teaching model was applied to study the change of typical misconceptions of high school mechanics, focusing on improving the change effect of the typical misconceptions of high school mechanics, and enhancing students' academic performance and learning efficiency. The main work of this study is as follows: typical misconceptions of high school mechanics have been collected in literature retrieval, and relative resulting causes have been analyzed,so as to take this as the study object;based on the "5E" teaching model, and combining with the four conditions of conceptual change, the change strategy of the typical misconceptions of high school mechanics was studied in this thesis;four typical misconceptions of high school mechanics were selected, and the teaching design were carried out by applying the change strategy based on the "5E" teaching model, and each teaching link were analyzed and explained; In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the change strategy based on the "5E" teaching model,a semester-long educational experiment was made in Honghe First Middle School. The study shows that the application of the change strategy based on "5E" teaching model can effectively help students to change the typical misconceptions of high school mechanics, construct scientific concepts, and effectively improve students' academic performance;compared with the traditional teaching, through applying the change strategy based on "5E" teaching model in teaching, the effect of the change of the typical misconceptions of high school mechanics is significant, therefore student performance was improved faster. To sum up,the change strategy based on the "5E" teaching model can be used in teaching to change the typical misconceptions of high school mechanics, and enhance the students' academic performance and learning efficiency.
