The thesis belongs to the special study of the national textbooks for teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The research aims to improve the preparation of Korean nationalized Chinese textbooks and improve the learning efficiency of Korean students.Multimodal compliation is a major trend in the construction of second language textbooks.Correspondingly, the application and research of language from multimodal theory has become a hot topic in current language research.More than 8,000 articles related to language theory,Chinese,English teaching, and second language acquisition have been published in CNKI's more than 9,000 multimodal research papers. However, there are not many researches on the use of multimodal theory to analyze foreign Chinese textbooks, which provides a large research space for the thesis.Based on multimodal theory, the thesis selects the textbook "Chinese I" written in Korea for analysis. The first chapter of the thesis expounds the origin, background, object and method of the topic selection, and summarizes the innovation. The second chapter mainly describes the design, pictures, voices, words and vedio of Darakwon's Chinese I from the perspective of multimodality, analyzes the form, meaning, and function of each modality, and focus on the interaction and coordination between modalities. The third chapter analyzes the multimodal similarities and differences between the Chinese I of Darakwon and the Chinese version of Happy Chinese 1,the latter is a reference. The fourth chapter is aimed at the use of the Korean version of "Chinese I",and designed a questionnaire related to multimodal teaching and teaching materials for Chinese teachers in Korea, and investigated their multimodal teaching attitudes and teaching conditions.Statistics and analysis were made on the validity and recovery of the questionnaire. The fifth chapter puts forward suggestions on teaching and textbook writing based on multimodal theory and second language acquisition theory for the problems found in teaching materials and research. The study found that the layout design and phonetic cooperation in the textbooks for Chinese as a foreign language need to be improved, and the quantity and quality of the mapsinvolved in the construction of meaning also have room for further improvement. In addition, some mature new technologies are not used to assist teaching, and the development of teaching tools needs further improvement. Now,the teachers use the multi-modal teaching consciousness in the teaching materials is not strong, and the understanding of various modes in the teaching materials is not enough to mobilize and exerte students very well. The innovations of the thesis are as follows:(1)Multimodal analysis for Korean Chinese textbooks for the first time.(2)In addition to focusing on the image and text modality of the textbooks, the design, speech, video and other modalities of the textbooks are also studied.Do a comprehensive description of the various modes of the textbook.(3)For the first time, the paper investigates and analyzes the current situation of Chinese multimodal teaching materials used by Chinese teachers, and proposes teaching suggestions accordingly.
