Physics is a subject based on experiment,which is an important part of physics education and textbooks in middle school.The quality of physical experiments will affects the experiment teaching in middle school.It is necessary to make further changes to the experimental setting which plays an important role in the cultivation of scientific core accomplishment.Therefore,it is of great significance to make a comprehensive and scientific comparison and evaluation of physics experiments in textbooks.In this study,we select two editions Junior high school science textbook used in China and two used in American,and makes comparison and analysis of the physical experiment between them from four versions,that is,quantity distribution,experimental equipment,driving problem and scientific inquiry elements in the textbook.Then,we construct the comprehensive difficulty model.This paper and makes a quantitative comparison of the physics experiment of science textbook based on our mode to obtain the comparative conclusion which should benefit the preparation of junior high school textbooks in China.This article consists of a total of seven parts,that is:In the first part,we mainly introduces the research background from three aspects: the relationship between physics experiment and physics course,the Chinese and American science Education Standard and the domestic physics experiment education.Then,we expounds the research purpose and significance of this study.In the second part,we give a review of the related articles,such as the difficulty model which had been studied thus determine the material selection.Then,we give a decision of the comparison dimension which will be used in this paper.In the third part,we mainly introduce the physical core accomplishment,the cognitive characteristics of junior middle school students and the main learning theory which will be used in this paper.In the fourth part,we mainly introduce the four editions science textbooks,the main research methods and the research framework of the articles in China and the United States as the research object.In the fifth part,we have made a comprehensive comparison and analysis of the contents of physics experiment in Chinese and American science textbooks,mainly from four aspects: the experimental distribution,equipment selection,driving problems,scientific inquiry elements.The sixth part is the comparison of the comprehensive difficulty of physics experiment between Chinese and American science textbooks,by use of the comprehensive difficulty model of physical experiment.The seventh part is the last part of this thesis.We draw a conclusion and suggestion of the design of Physics experiment part of science textbook.At the same time,give some based on the quantitative research and qualitative analysis of the previous text,and the current situation of science education.
