Procrastination is a frequent phenomenon in daily life,which means to irrationally postpone the start and completion of tasks.Academic procrastination is defined which occurs in the learning situation,which is characterized by the late completion of the academic task and the rush to complete at the last minute.If the students' academic procrastination are serious,it can lead students to study without care,and they unable to complete the homework assigned by the teacher,which is not conducive to get the hand of professional skills.What's more,it can result in insufficient employment competitiveness at the time of graduation,which is not conducive to personal career development.Even some students may delay graduation or even drop out,because They can't complete the learning task according to the school requirements.Therefore,it is very necessary to solve the problem of college students' academic procrastination.This study takes S school in Shenzhen area as an example.The main purpose of this study is to explore the academic procrastination of college students,but academic procrastination have many influencing factors.Therefore,this study selects academic self-efficacy and academic emotion as auxiliary factors to investigate the current situation of academic procrastination and academic emotion and academic self-efficacy and the relationship among them.On this basis,using group counseling to change college students' academic procrastination,and the group counseling effect is verified through pre-test and post-test.In terms of research methods,this study mainly uses mixed research method,and collects quantitative data and qualitative data.Firstly,497 questionnaires are collected as quantitative data through questionnaire survey,and analyze data of the current situation of academic procrastination,academic self-efficacy and academic emotions and relationship among them based on questionnaire.Secondly,eight college students were selected as members of the group counseling intervention group,and design a group counseling program for college students' academic procrastination,intervene in their academic procrastination,and collect qualitative data to evaluate the group's auxiliary effects.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)Students generally have academic procrastination.Moderate academic procrastination has a large proportion of students.College students' academic self-efficacy is generally good,and academic emotions is generally positive and optimistic.(2)There is a significant correlation among college students' academic procrastination,academic self-efficacy and academic emotions.(3)Academic emotions can play a partial intermediary role between academic self-efficacy and academic procrastination.(4)Group counseling intervention can effectively improve college students' academic procrastination behavior.
