Research On Cultivation Of College Student's Cultural Confidence

Culture is a spiritual gene of a nation,and an unique identity that distinguishes it from other nations.Culture is an important link of a country to unite the hearts of the people,and an important indicator to measure the overall national strength.On the basis of a comprehensive understanding,cultural confidence refers that cultural subjects should have deep feelings and firm confidence in the development of culture itself.Since the 18 th National Congress of the CPC,the Party has attached great importance to cultural confidence.General Secretary Xi Jinping has made important statements on cultural confidence on many great occasions,and even explicitly pointed out in the 19 th National Congress report that “cultural confidence is a more fundamental,deeper and more lasting force for a country or a nation development".“Without a high degree of cultural confidence and prosperity,there will be no great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.” These discussions have solidified the value of culture and the role of cultural confidence in the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Young college students are the main pioneers and participants in the country's future construction,as well as the inheritors of national culture.They must keep a high degree of confidence in Chinese culture.It is not only related to the all-round development of students,but also a direct requirement for the prosperity of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics and cultural power construction.Universities must focus on cultivating students' cultural confidence.In the new era,the cultivation of college students' cultural confidence injects new contents and puts forward new requirements,so it is necessary to carry out more targeted,more specific and more in-depth research on it.Only by realizing the current reality of college students' cultural confidence,finding out its shortcomings,and putting forward feasible countermeasures and suggestions,can we create a new pattern for cultivation of college students' cultural confidence,and better guide college students to make positive contributions to firm cultural confidence.This is also the theme and goal of this study.This paper includes fiver chapters except introduction.The introduction is mainly about the background,significance,research status,thinking methods,innovations and deficiencies of the topic.This part focuses on the systematic review of relevant research results and solid the theoretical basis of the research.Chapter one introduces comprehensive analysis of the core concepts,which is related to the cultural confidence cultivation of college students.On the one hand,it describes the origin and definition of cultural confidence,and the connotation and composition of cultural confidence in detail.On this basis,it clarifies the connotation,structure and significance of college students' cultural confidence.At the same time,this part elaborates the four basic elements of the cultivation of college students' cultural confidence,including the subject,object,media and environment,as well as the dialectical relationship with ideological and political education.It is to carry out follow-up research under the guidance of this.Chapter two is based on the important viewpoints of Marxist-Leninist classic writers and leaders of the Communist Party of China on cultural confidence,systematically summarizes the guiding ideology of cultivating college students' cultural confidence.Chapter three briefly introduces the investigation and analysis of the current situation.It investigates the present situation of college students' cultural confidence through questionnaire survey and analysis,field interviews and other methods.Through the analysis of statistical data and on-the-spot understanding of the specific situation,it is clear that the achievements of cultivating college students' cultural confidence are: generally have a good emotional attitude towards mainstream culture,the vast majority of students have firm confidence in the development of mainstream culture,and have a rational and tolerant attitude towards foreign culture.The existing problems include: low awareness of Chinese and western culture,preference for western culture in cultural consumption choices,some students' awareness of cultural safety needs to improve,and unsatisfactory participation in cultural practice.Chapter four analyzes the causes of the problems in the cultivation of college students' cultural confidence,mainly from the perspectives of educators' cultivation concept,the deficiencies in the specific work carried out by colleges and universities,the campus cultural environment,and students' subjective factors.Chapter five analyzes the countermeasures for cultivating college students' cultural confidence.On the basis of adhering to the basic principles,the author takes the major elements of cultural confidence as the entry point,and fully mobilizes the school's rich resources.The corresponding specific countermeasures are discussed from the aspects of renewing cultivation concepts,consolidating cultivation contents,expanding cultivation carriers,perfecting cultivation guarantee system,optimizing cultivation environment,and guiding students to strengthen self-education.It provides some feasible suggestions for colleges and universities to systematically construct and carry out the cultivation of college students' cultural confidence.
