This dissertation examines the part of mentoring in career advancement of teachers in universities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.The research study provided a complete review and studied the connection of formal and informal mentoring with remuneration growth,promotion speed and professional ability.A sample of 155 teachers was selected from universities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.Data was gathered from the respondents and fed into statistical tool SPSS to apply different tests i.e.descriptive statistics,frequency distribution,regression analysis and correlation analysis.On the basis of results,it is clearly observed that both variables formal and informal mentoring have a significant positive influence on all three dependent factors remuneration growth,promotion speed and professional ability.The research has found a major positive impact of mentoring on career advancement of teachers in the universities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
