Language socialization research was born in the 1980s which examines the interaction between language acquisition, language use and social culture. It studies how children and new members achieve socialization through the use of language and how to use language in socialization. With the acceleration of globalization and the deep researching of language acquisition, more and more attention has been paid to the study of language socialization.Academic language socialization is an aspect of language socialization, which refers to learning a specific subject through language and learning the language used in a specific subject. The process of academic language socialization can help language learners learn a language as well as understand a culture.Children's personal narrative refers to children's narration of their own experiences.Relevant studies have found that the strength of preschool children's personal narrative ability is closely related to the strength of their later school reading ability.Reviewing the research at home and abroad, there is relatively rare study analyzing the process of academic language socialization in children's narrative activities. This study takes 5-6 year-old children in a class of Xindu No.1 kindergarten as the research object, and records the performance of children aged 5 to 6 in their personal narrative activities as to explore how personal narrative activities in kindergarten promote the socialization of academic language through the analysis of language materials. This study collects corpus by site recording. When processing the data, the paper draws lessons from the continuous comparison method in qualitative research, combines scaffolding theory to do open coding. The study analyses the data from three aspects:language demand of personal narrative;teacher's verbal scaffolding;personal narrative as a linguistic third space. The study finally finds that in personal narrative, children complete their activities in linguistic third space with the help of teachers'scaffolding and meet the language requirements set by the activities,so as to realize the socialization of academic language. This study will help domestic researchers get a better understand of the research trends of language socialization, and language teaching, and provide references for language teaching of kindergarten teachers and parents.Academically, this study is conducive to expanding the depth of the study of academic language and language socialization;in teaching, this study finds that teachers'scaffolding has an important impact on the completion of children's language activities;in family education, this study finds that parents can also use the role of scaffolding in daily conversation and language activities to help promote children's language acquisition.
