With the aggravation of globalization and information age,countries all over the world have increased their efforts in education reform,"core literacy" has become an important topic of education reform.Relevant research shows that core literacy can not only meet the needs of students' lifelong development,but also the basic requirements of modern society.The c ore accomplishment of a subject is the concrete embodiment of the core accomplishment in the subject,that is,to cultivate the excellent character and basic ability of the subject.The primary task of mathematics is to cultivate students' rational thinking and scientific attitude.At present,the core quality of mathematics has been regarded as the basic guiding ideology of mathematics education and curriculum reform in China.Through the methods of literature research,case analysis and test,the whole structure of mathematics core literacy is applied to the teaching design of the whole unit and each class hour,so that the teaching design is more specific and perfect,more systematic and feasible.Based on the teaching theory,this study explores the overall structure of the primary school mathematics core literacy,analyzes the necessity of the primary school mathematics teaching design facing the mathematics core literacy,and applies the overall structure of the mathematics core literacy to the teaching design,deeply studies the teaching content of the unit,and clarifies the teaching by taking the unit of "the area of rectangle and square" as an example in the third grade volume of Jiangsu education board The aim is to design the teaching process carefully,to use various teaching methods and means to promote the teaching evaluation of students' development,so as to change the shortcomings and drawbacks of the existing teachi ng design,to effectively strengthen students' participation in classroom teaching and underst anding of knowledge,and to further promote the development of primary school students' mathematical core literacy.Through the research,it is found that the primary school mathematics teaching design for mathematics core literacy makes students more enthusiastic to participate in the classroom,is conducive to students' more solid grasp of basic knowledge and ability,and is conducive to the rapid development of students' mathematical abstraction,reasoning and other thinking levels.But at the same time,it is found that based on the good wishes of teaching design,there will be some problems and deficiencies in classroom teaching,which need to be reflected and improved.
