"Body" Mirror Image In The Era Of Mobile Internet

With the transformation of society and the rise of consumer culture,the body has truly become an important landscape in contemporary society,thus the body management has become a hot social phenomenon.At the same time,the Internet forms new social Spaces and participates in shaping people' s lives." Online at any time" has become a way of life,and participation in online communities has become a part of daily life.The platform built by the Internet allows people to fully display and discuss the body.The activities in cyberspace based on the body are more and more active.The body,especially some controversial body topics,has been greatly liberated in the Internet space.Therefore,more and more scholars also pay attention to the body performance in the Internet.This paper selected the network community of micro-plastic surgery as the research position of the Internet body,and took Cooley' s "Looking-Glass Self "and Lacan''s"Mirror Theory "as the theoretical basis.Using the methods of participatory observation and in-depth interview in network ethnography,the body in the Internet is studied from the perspective of body mirror image.It is found that the body mirror image of individuals on the midline of Internet space is more like the body image of "others",which reflects the aesthetic concept of social standards.The body mirror image of the other affects the individual' s view of the body and drives the individual' s physical actions.There are two reasons that drive individuals to practice microplastic surgery,one is the negative evaluation of the individual body by the other including the virtual other;another is the failure of the body' s daily management."The mirroring body "in Frank' s body theory essentially serves the body mirror image.The aesthetic standard becomes the "model" of the body mirror image,and the "package" body consumption drives individuals to enter the "department store".At the same time,the "reversibility" of the micro-plastic body gives individuals the opportunity to walk between the natural body and the transformed body.Body mirror image is further standardized,detailed and specialized through network transmission,and the body mirror image of others is further consolidated and strengthened in the process of calibrating body mirror image model.Secondly,offline individuals understand the body mirror image presented by online individuals through the Internet in all aspects.In the process of information transmission,online individuals inevitably become the virtual other of offline individuals,and the whole Internet becomes a big other,which has an impact on the body construction of offline individuals.Compared with the direct influence of others on the body image of individuals,the Internet gives individuals more information options.Therefore,offline individuals are also trying to realize their own control over the body.The body image of individuals is updated under the combined action of online and offline.It is mainly manifested in the physical practice conducted by online others under the guidance of "aesthetic standard script".The other presents a set of detailed and complete aesthetic standards with western aesthetic characteristics in the Internet space,which enhances the offline individuals' perception of physical details,but offline individuals also "rewrite" the script.Their aesthetic script is more with a mixture of Chinese and foreign characteristics;In the practice of esthetic standard script,online individuals deduce the concept of "body responsibility" and use it as a "tool" to respond to the outside world' s doubts about their body actions.At the same time,online individuals endue the body responsibility with "internal quality" and call on individuals to be responsible for the body,while offline individuals"re-interpret" the body responsibility and regard the internal management of the body and keeping the body reason as a better way to fulfill the body responsibility;In the whole process of"making" beauty,offline individuals also adopt a "compromise”strategy,and maintain their subjectivity of the body at any time through"differentiation" and "screening".Finally,the presentation of cyberspace and the practice of individuals together constitute the pluralistic expression of body image.From the perspective of micro-plastic surgery,the body is a kind of capital,a practice process,an experience and a consumption result.Capital promotes the modification of the body,and the body mirror image directly represents the power of capital.The body mirror image,especially the body mirror image in the context of body consumption,is the representative of all kinds of "capital".At the same time,because UP masters foreground their background behavior.the finishing and transmission mechanism of body mirror image has been changed,and the chain of body mirror image is extended.Body mirror image is not static,it becomes a dynamic process of practice and evolution.Because the capital brought by the
