Core literacy has become one of the hot topics studied by many scholars."Mathematics Curriculum Standard for Senior High School(2017 Edition)" emphasizes the implementation of mathematics core literacy in teaching.Mathematics is the abstraction of the real world,and intuitive imagination is an important tool needed in the process of abstraction.With the help of intuitive imagination,graphics and quantity can be linked and the problem can be simplified.At present,the research on visual imagination literacy in teaching practice is still insufficient.Therefore,the author will take conic curve as the carrier to explore the teaching design based on intuitive imagination literacy.In order to solve this problem,this paper starts from the following aspects: combing the relevant literature of teaching design,conic curve,intuitive imagination literacy,understanding the current research situation,and looking for theoretical support for the teaching design based on intuitive imagination literacy.It is determined that the teaching design will be carried out from four aspects: situation and problem,knowledge and skill,thinking and expression,communication and reflection.Sorting out the knowledge structure of conic curve in Renjiao A edition,comparing the definition and manifestation of mathematical core literacy,it is found that conic curve is more beneficial to the development of students' visual imagination literacy.Further clarify the teaching of conic based on visual imagination literacy The necessity of the design,and then the preparation of test paper 1,from the students' responses to understand their basis before learning conic curve and the difficulties they can encounter,Based on the analysis of teaching materials and learning situation,the teaching design and implementation of some teaching links of conic curve are carried out around the visual imagination literacy.Through the interviews with the students and the answers to the test paper 2,it is found that the students' visual imagination literacy has been developed to a certain extent.The following conclusions can be drawn from the status of the students in class,the interviews with the students,and the responses to test papers 1 and 2:First,the teaching design based on visual imagination literacy can improve students' interest in learning and develop students' thinking;Second,the teaching design based on visual imagination literacy can improve students' ability to solve problems with the help of graphics;Thirdly,the teaching design based on visual imagination literacy can improve the students' ability to transform each other among text language,graphic language and symbolic language.
