It is very important to cultivate college students'Chinese spirit.It is also of pioneering significance to expand the cultivation path of college students' Chinese spirit through aesthetic education.However,through the analysis and collation of existing research at home and abroad,we find that the psychological mechanism of cultivating college students'Chinese spirit through aesthetic education is still unclear.Based on the psychological theories of projective identity,intrinsic identity and cognitive load,this study adopts the qualitative research method of semi-structured interviews,selects 12 college students according to the principle of purpose and information saturation,and conducts in-depth interviews with five paintings containing Chinese spirit.Through qualitative research and analysis of the data obtained from interviews with Nvivo 12.0,the paper reveals five characteristics of the psychological mechanism of the formation of Chinese spirit of college students in aesthetic education,including the characteristics of acceptable projective price,projective identity,intrinsic identity,psychological identity and the formation of Chinese spirit;and constructs two models:college students'China Psychological mechanism model of spiritual formation and mental processing model of aesthetic education to cultivate college students'Chinese spirit.According to the five characteristics and two models mentioned above,four psychological mechanisms for aesthetic education to cultivate college students'Chinese spirit are concisely developed,namely,cognitive construction mechanism,emotional identification mechanism,psychological identification mechanism and need-driven mechanism.Combining with the characteristics and functions of psychological mechanism,this paper puts forward four paths for aesthetic education to cultivate college students'Chinese spirit,namely,integrating educational resources scientifically to form a joint force of Chinese spiritual education;using aesthetic education to stimulate perception and deepen understanding of Chinese spirit;using aesthetic education skillfully to stimulate emotion and sublimate college students' Chinese spirit;using aesthetic education to condense will and internalize Chinese spirit profoundly.
