Comparative Study On Regional Population Competitiveness

In the process of the transformation of economic development mode,with the continuous expansion of the breadth and depth of regional competition,the status of population in regional competition is constantly improved,and population competitiveness has become an important part of regional competitiveness.During the "13th five-year plan" period,Xi 'an,Chengdu and other large and medium-sized cities in China issued population policies in a bid to improve the quality of population by expanding population increment and optimizing population stock,so as to provide more abundant factor supply and stronger consumer demand for urban development.To define the connotation of regional population competitiveness,to construct the index system of regional population competitiveness,and to analyze the actual situation of regional population competitiveness has become a research problem with theoretical and practical significance.According to human capital,population transfer,moderate population and other basic theories,regional population competitiveness has five connotation characteristics,such as productivity,consumption,sociality,nature and innovation,and is affected by four factors,such as economy,politics,environment and culture.Through the establishment of the index system of regional population competitiveness and the use of artificial neural network method and its BP model,the empirical analysis of 16 cities in Anhui province shows that the population competitiveness of Anhui province presents such distinctive characteristics as "high in the middle,low in the surrounding areas" and such significant problems as increasingly serious aging and continuous net population outflow.From the perspective of Anhui province as a whole,the distribution map drawn by ARCGIS software shows that different cities show obvious regional characteristics in population development.From the perspective of individual cities in the province,some cities have the following problems:the employment structure is unbalanced,and the second and third industries absorb less labor force;The quality of education is low,and the scientific and cultural quality of residents is not high;Population growth is underpowered and birth rates continue to fall;Innovation ability is insufficient,production thinking and production technology are ossified.In order to accelerate the population competitiveness of Anhui province and promote the economic and social coordination and healthy development of Anhui province,it is suggested to take targeted measures from the government,enterprises and individuals.In terms of enterprises,we should improve the performance appraisal system,organize regular training,and establish the awareness of independent innovation.In the individual aspect,must change the employment idea,avoids the blind migration,pays attention to the comprehensive development.
