With the progress of the times, the society pays more and more attention to the cultivation and selection of talents.People's selection and evaluation of talents are often based on the level of test scores. In such a talent selection system and social reality,Academic achievement has become the most important thing for people to care about.Academic achievement not only reflects the students' learning outcomes, but also reflects the quality of the school's education and teaching, and is related to a student's future employment development prospects. Therefore,it is very important to explore the influencing factors of academic achievement.Process mental simulations refers to the concrete steps people take to achieve a given goal. This simulation helps individuals to construct an effective program trend to achieve the ultimate goal.Although there are studies show that process mental simulations can improve students' academic performance, there are few such studies in the past, and all of them are college students. The college students and middle school students have great differences in cognitive emotions and academics. Therefore, this study uses the experimental method to explore the role of process mental simulation in promoting the academic performance of junior high school students. That is,the influence of process mental simulation on students'pre-test planning, anxiety, motivation level and test scores, and the mediating factors of the influence of process mental simulation on academic performance. In this study, three parallel classes in the second year of junior high school were randomly selected as the experimental group, the measurement control group and the control group. The experimental group carried out the process mental simulation exercise and the pre-test questionnaire. The first evaluation was 7 days before the test, and the process mental simulation exercise was first performed. Then the students were asked to complete the pre-test questionnaire about planning, anxiety and motivation. The second evaluation was the test. The first five days were exactly the same as the first one.The measurement control group needs to complete the same pre-test questionnaire seven days before the test and five days before the test,in order to exclude the influence of the students filling out the pre-test questionnaire on the academic performance. The control team does not do anything, and collects test scores after the test. The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Process mental simulation can significantly improve the academic performance of junior high school students;(2)Process psychology simulation can significantly improve the primary and secondary scores of junior high school students;(3)Process mental simulation significantly improves the pre-test motivation level of junior high school students, but has no effect on pre-test anxiety and program level;...
