If science and technology are prosperous,the country will be prosperous and the science and technology will be strong.In order to further implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's goal of becoming a great power in science and technology in the world and realize the "two centenary goals",the science and technology commission of the Ministry of Education proposed that universities should play an important role in basic scientific research,strengthen the source supply of scientific and technological innovation,and make contributions to the strategy of innovation-driven development.Scientific research team is the basic unit of scientific research in universities.Its development is inseparable from knowledge innovation,and team learning provides basic conditions for knowledge innovation.Based on the IPO model,this paper constructs the mechanism model of influence of leadership style on team performance of university research teams,and explores the influence between leadership style and team performance under the mediating effect of team learning and the moderating effect of team motivation.In this study,a questionnaire was designed by reading relevant literature and referring to the existing mature scale.The research team in universities was taken as sample.First,a small sample test was conducted to test the reliability and validity of the questionnaire,and unqualified items were deleted.Secondly,a large-scale survey was conducted on 152 members of 27 university research teams to obtain first-hand data.In order to test the research model and hypothesis,correlation,regression and analysis of variance were performed using statistical analysis SPSS24.0 software.The analysis results show that transformational leadership and transactional leadership both have a positive impact on team performance and the four dimensions of team learning.The four dimensions of team learning have a positive effect on team performance.Team learning plays an intermediary role in the mechanism of transformational leadership and team performance.Team learning plays an intermediary role in the mechanism of transactional leadership and team performance.Team motivation does not play a significant role in regulating the relationship between team learning and team performance.Team size is 6-10 people,team learning is better.The purpose of this research is to attract university research teams to focus on team learning and the cultivation of leadership style,and to improve team performance by effectively identifying leadership style and adopting the mediating effect of team learning.Team leaders should consciously cultivate themselves to manage team members with transformational and transactional styles,and at the same time encourage team members to conduct daily knowledge exploration,communication and sharing in the management of university research teams,so as to promote the generation of new ideas and technologies.
