The rapid changes of society often lead to the development of education.Attention to students' high order thinking has become a consensus reached in the international education community.Developing students' excellent thinking is an important task and goal of primary mathematics education in the new era.The author takes "A study on the cultivation of high order mathematical thinking of elementary school students" as the subject of this paper,and mainly studies the following contents:1.The main components of high order mathematical thinking of pupil.2.The characteristics of pupil with high order mathematical thinking.3.The teaching suggestions for cultivating elementary students' high order mathematical thinking.Through literature analysis,questionnaire survey and online interview,the author determines the main components of elementary students' high order mathematical thinking.On this basis,through the teacher's forum,the characteristics of high order mathematical thinking of elementary school students are summed up,combined with case analysis,the teaching suggestions of cultivating high order mathematical thinking of elementary school students are given.The research results show that:1.High order mathematical thinking of elementary students is a kind of complex comprehensive thinking that students show in cognitive learning.It includes six main thinking components,namely,mathematical transfer ability,critical thinking,mathematical thinking ability,creative thinking,mathematical communication ability and problem-solving ability.2.Elementary students with high order mathematical thinking have prominent external performance in the six major thinking components.In addition,the content of the course is as follows:good sense of number,preliminary symbol awareness,simple reasoning;there is a certain space imagination and geometric intuitive ability;have a preliminary concept of data analysis,statistical thinking has begun to emerge,etc.3.In order to develop elementary students' high order mathematical thinking,it is necessary to strengthen the guidance of teachers' concept,make exquisite classroom design,focus on students in classroom teaching and adopt multiple evaluation methods.From the specific point of view,it is recommended to forming a synergy of thinking start by cultivate students' six components to promote the steady development of high order mathematical thinking.
