The reform of interdisciplinary and comprehensive curriculum,and the cultivation of students' innovative ability have become one of the hot spots in today's education reform.Integration of mathematics and science has become an important driving force for social development with the background of the era of knowledge economy.In order to cultivate excellent,professional and innovative mathematics teachers with interdisciplinary teaching awareness and ability,it is important to understand the current situation of interdisciplinary teaching attitude of secondary mathematics pre-service teachers.This study explores the following two questions:(1)what is the attitude of the secondary mathematics pre-service teachers towards mathematics ?(2)What is attitude of the secondary mathematics pre-service teachers towards interdisciplinary teaching of integration of mathematics and science?Are there any differences among gender,grade and professional performance?the author analyzed the relevant literature at first,then compiled the questionnaire of pre-service mathematics teachers' attitudes towards mathematics and the questionnaire of pre-service mathematics teachers' attitudes towards interdisciplinary teaching of integration of mathematics and science as the research tools of this study;then the author used the questionnaire to investigate 550 mathematics pre-service teachers in a normal university in Hunan Province.The collected data is processed by SPSS data analysis software,on the basis of analyzing the attitude of mathematics pre-service teachers to mathematics,this paper discusses the attitude of mathematics pre-service teachers to the interdisciplinary teaching of integration of mathematics and science in detail and discusses the differences of different groups.Finally,three pre-service mathematics teachers who participated in the questionnaire were selected for in-depth interviews.The conclusions are as follows:First of all,the overall level of secondary pre-service teachers' attitude to mathematics is general.There are significant differences in the attitude of pre-service teachers to mathematics in different grades,genders and professional achievements.Secondly,the overall level of secondary mathematics pre-service teachers' attitude to interdisciplinary teaching of integration of mathematics and science is positive,and the cognitive and emotional level of the interdisciplinary teaching of the integration of mathematics and science are generally high,and the behavioral tendency level is general;there are significant differences in the attitude of secondary mathematics pre-service teachers towards interdisciplinary teaching of integration of mathematics and science in different grades;There is no significant difference in different genders and professional achievements.Furthermore,there is a strong and positive correlation between the secondary pre-service teachers' attitude towards mathematics and the interdisciplinary teaching attitude of integration of mathematics and science.Finally,this paper puts forward three suggestions on how to cultivate mathematics teachers with interdisciplinary teaching awareness and ability:(1)reasonably formulate curriculum standards,attach importance to textbook construction;(2)add science courses,strengthen interdisciplinary teaching practice;(3)update traditional educational concepts,and improve comprehensive discipline ability.
