Critical thinking is the core competence of talents in the 21 st century.Today,as elearning is gradually becoming an important learning method for college students,how to cultivate college students' critical thinking in an online environment has become a hot issue in the education field.However,there still have the following problems about the cultivation of critical thinking among college students in the network environment: first,most researches focus on the cultivation of critical thinking skills,and rarely consider the effect of critical thinking disposition;second,most studies are conducted by building a critical thinking training model and carrying out specific activities to develop learners' critical thinking skills.The research is lack of specific strategies to guide.The community of inquire model with the core concept of emphasizing collaborative construction learning and critical reflection dialogue provides a unique perspective and method for the cultivation of students' critical thinking in the network environment.The research firstly analyzes the connotation of Community of Inquiry and the constituent elements of critical thinking.Based on the theory,the relationship between the model elements and critical thinking is constructed.The positive effect of the community of inquiry model on the college students' critical thinking was verified by structural equations.Secondly,according to the elements of the model,a critical thinking disposition and skill training strategy is constructed.Finally,the strategies is tested by conducting two-stage experiments on the class that carried out in a blended learning.The experiment was carried out in two stages.In the first stage,the California Critical Thinking Dispositions Inventory(CCTDI)was used to measure the critical thinking dispositions of the two classes students.Comparing the critical thinking dispositions of the two class students after the implementation of the strategy,it was found that the overall critical thinking of the students has improved and the four aspects of critical thinking dispositions including open-mindedness,self-confidence,truthseeking,and analyticity have obviously increased;In the second phase of the experiment,the Newman content analysis method was used to analyze the text generated in the online interaction between the experimental class and the control class.It has found that the overal critical thinking depth of the experimental class students was higher than the control class.The experimental group has improved significantly in the four dimensions including the connection perspective dimension(L),critical comment dimension(C),practical application dimension(P),and breadth of understanding(W);Through a comparative analysis of the depth of critical thinking skills in the experimental class and the control class,it is found that the advanced level of critical thinking skills in the experimental class has improved significantly.
