In recent years,domestic teaching and examinations have undergone tremendous changes,which have clarified the education tasks and goals of each stage and subject and formed a complete core literacy evaluation standard.These higher standard will put forward higher requirements for the teaching goals and teaching levels of each stage and subject.The conic curve has always been an important and difficult point in mathematics and its status is prominent.This paper adopted the relevant theories and methods of variant teaching,This paper which based on the content of the conic curve has carried out a detailed exploration of the variant teaching method of the conic curve in the actual teaching process,and combined the design,implementation and effectiveness of the conical curve variant teaching.Finally,this paper compared the effects of variant teaching with those of traditional teaching,and demonstrated the scientificity nature and effectiveness of the variant method in conic teaching.The main research in this paper includes following parts:This paper studied and analyzed the existing literature on variant teaching,and found that there are few theoretical studies on the principle and implementation methods of variant teaching.In this situation,this paper has conducted questionnaire surveys and interviews with senior high school mathematics teachers to find out their teaching model of the conical curve and their understanding of variant teaching.Based on the principle of variant teaching,this paper studied the relevant classification and implementation methods of variant from three aspects: basic concepts,mathematical propositions,and problem solving.This paper designed a lesson called ‘ellipse and standard equation' based on the basic concepts,a lesson called ‘rethinking the definition of ellipse and hyperbola' based on themathematical proposition strategy,and a lesson called ‘the fixed-point problem in parabola' based on the practice questions.These cases are all based on the idea of variant teaching to enhance students' ability to discover problems and explore problems,and cultivate students' divergent and creative thinking.This paper used the related theories and methods of variant research to design a comparative experiment of high school mathematics variant teaching based on conic curve teaching content.The experiment carried out a reflective teaching experimental research on the mathematics subjects of the two classes.The experiment carried out a conical curve teaching experimental study on the mathematics subjects.The SPSS was used to perform a T test to analyze the difference between the average scores before and after the experiments.After the experiment,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the students and verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the variant teaching in the mathematics teaching in high school.The experimental results showed that the effect of using variant teaching is significantly better than that of traditional teaching methods.The experiment has proved that in the process of conic curve teaching,variant teaching could enhance students' ability to solve mathematical problems,improve students' mathematical thinking level,and achieve better teaching results.
