Under the background of China's Internet and the background supported by big data,the popularity of new shopping models such as unmanned vending cabinets has shifted the sales of fresh food from offline only to a new new retail mode--the combination of online and offline.With its advantages of covering a small area and low labor cost,the automatic vending cabinet has occupied part of the market and promoted the development of the new retail mode in China.The appearance of unmanned vending cabinets in front of the public has brounght great convenience to people's life.As public places with dense flow of people,colleges and universities have a large demand for fruits.The traditional retail mode for fruits can't match the special needs of students.It is urgent to transform and find a breakthrough in service and experience.Based on the concept of service design,taking the campus of South China University of Technology as an example,this paper redefines the needs of all stakeholders in the service system of fruit sales in the form of online shopping mall purchase and offline unmanned vending machine,and explores the new retail mode of automatic service system of fruit sales in the campus,so as to conform to the trend of the times when the shopping mode changes from offline to online affected by the Internet,and so that the service of fruit sales in the universities can meet the needs of teachers and students better,and to improve the fruit purchasing experience for students and all staff.First of all,according to the theory research of service design,this paper explains the concept,process and method of it,and proposes the research process of the automatic service system of fruit sales in the university based on the service design concept,which is divided into seven stages: planning service points,studying the feelings of users,refining user needs,analyzing pain points and the opportunity,planning new service process,design practice,and service evaluation.Secondly,in the stage of planning service points,the paper studies the location and layout of vending machines and fruit sales in the campus of South China University of Technology,also the composition of commodity types,and the problems in the purchase process,and plans the points of automatic service of fruit sales in the campus;in the stage of studying the feelings of users,observe user behaviors and interview users with service points as clues to obtain the feelings of users.In the stage of refining user requirements,through the user profile and user journey map,to screen and classify the obscure requirements of users obtained from the previous three surveys,then finalize all the demand points according to Maslow's hierarchy of needs;in the stage of analyzing pain pointsand opportunities,to study the interaction points and opportunities in design in user purchasing fruits and business management process from the perspective of service design,and redefine the needs of stakeholders.Finally,in the stage of planning service process,the paper proposes a complete solution for automatic service system of fruit sales in the campus,summarizing the design ideas of automatic service of fruit sales in the campus,such as in the aspects of user needs,business management needs,distribution management needs,etc.,and designs a new mode of automatic service of fruit sales in the university based on user experience.Lastly,to complete the design and development of malls supported by applets,web-end business management system,logistics distribution applets and terminal automatic container sales.
