As information technology plays an increasingly important role in social production and life,computational thinking has become one of the core literacy of the entire people,and has attracted much attention from the world's education.Many schools are actively bringing computational thinking into the curriculum.However,teachers,as the main implementers of teaching activities,lack the necessary teaching preparations while coping with the emerging curriculum of the times,and lack of attention on whether they can be competent in the teaching of computational thinking.Based on this,this research starts with the sense of teaching efficacy of primary and secondary school teachers,and designs computational thinking training activities,and verifies the impact of training activities on teachers' computing thinking ability and sense of teaching efficacy through empirical methods.This research first combed the related research of computational thinking teaching and sense of teaching efficacy through literature research method,analyzed the necessity and essence of the research on the sense of teaching efficacy in computational thinking of primary and secondary school teachers,and combined the activity theory to carry out a series of training activities to enhance sense of teaching efficacy in computational thinking for primary and secondary school teachers.In this study,69 teachers of primary and secondary schools were selected as activities implement objects,and training the sense of teaching efficacy in computational thinking was enhanced from three parts: new knowledge acquisition of computational thinking,project experience of computational thinking,and teaching experience of computational thinking.According to the planned activity framework,the researchers design the training goals for primary and secondary school teachers from three aspects of computational concepts,computational practices and computational perspectives according to the framework of computational thinking,and achieve the sense of teaching efficacy from four aspects: professional foundation,classroom experience,teaching skills and strategies,and teaching motivation,and the activities was followed by four steps: introduction,inquiry,practice,and feedback.After the training,the effectiveness tracking study of teachers 'computational thinking teaching was conducted,and 370 sixth-graders were selected to participate in teaching activities to further analyze the influence of teachers on students' computational thinking level.This study explores the following research questions,through the implement of designed teaching efficacy in computational thinking activities for primary and secondary school teachers:(1)Can teachers improve their level of computational thinking ability?(2)Does the teacher's sense of teaching efficacy in computational thinking teaching improve?(3)Can teachers improve students' level of computational thinking in subsequent teaching? Through the empirical research,statistical analysis is performed on teachers and students' computational thinking ability test and sense of teaching efficacy in computational thinking data.Statistical methods such as paired sample T test,correlation analysis,and one-way analysis of variance are used to verify and answer research questions.The research results show that:(1)teachers 'computational thinking ability before and after the activity was significantly improved(P<.001);(2)teachers' computational thinking teaching effectiveness before and after the activity was significantly improved(P<.001).Among them,the professional foundation,classroom experience,teaching skills and strategies,and teaching motivation have all been improved to some extent;(3)Teachers can effectively improve students' level of computational thinking in the subsequent teaching process(P<.001).This study provides empirical evidence and a framework model for improving the sense of teaching efficacy in computational thinking for primary and secondary school teachers.In the process of cultivating teachers 'sense of teaching efficacy in computational thinking,we must pay attention to strategies such as experiencing first and transforming teachers' roles.Reduce teacher fear and increase teacher participation.Only when the teacher confidently and calmly participates in the process of computational thinking teaching,can the students' level of computational thinking be improved step by step,and the teachers and students can grow together.
