The Impact Of 2019 Cuba Competition Reform On University Basketball Development

Purpose: The China University Basketball League(CUBA)was born in 1998.After 20 years of reorganization and competition system reform,the CUBA League is not only the highest level of university basketball in China,but also the number one brand of Chinese campus sports events.In 2018,Ali Sports became the exclusive event operator of CUBA.Ali and the General Sports Association jointly promoted the reform of the 2019 CUBA league system.The drastic reforms have made the game have a good response.This study focused on the specific reform measures,and analyzed the impact of the reform measures of the 2019 CUBA League on game appreciation,fairness,and student participation,and thus further analyzed its reforms on the popularity of basketball in colleges and universities,marketization and the impact of factors such as university basketball training teams and their future development directions.Studying the reform of the 2019 CUBA tournament system is conducive to forming an objective understanding of the current situation of university basketball under the current tournament system,and is of great significance for analyzing the future development direction and spreading influence of university basketball in my country.Methods: This article studied the impact of the 2019 CUBA league system reform on college basketball by adopting literature,logical induction,questionnaire survey,comparative analysis,and expert interviews.Result: First,in terms of the scale and structure of the competition,the CUBA league has expanded vigorously,and the original CUBA elite group,CUBA vocational group and CUBA sunshine group have all been included in the framework of the CUBA,and they have been adjusted to the first,second and third level league structure,which cover 1600 teams from 32 provinces and cities.Women competition has been newly added in the third level league;secondly,in terms of competition system,the 2019 CUBA league focuses on the promotion of the league's home and away system.Aside from the quarterfinals,thehome-away system is widely implemented in more than 100 colleges and universities in 14 provinces and cities nationwide at the grassroots level.In addition,the new league added play-offs after the regional games,and the double defeat elimination system implemented in the national top 32.The article concludes as follows:1.Overall,the reform of the 2019 CUBA League's competition system promotes the development of the CUBA League towards a more standardized,larger scale,wider influence,and better viewing effect.2.The reform of the 2019 CUBA League tournament system has improved the fairness,enjoyment and influence of the game;3.The marketization of college basketball shows great potential;4.The reform of the competition system has influenced the establishment of basketball team,the mode of cultivating future talents and the mode of competition.
