No problem,no innovation.The process of innovation is the process of problem solving.We should pay attention to the cultivation of students' problem-solving ability in teaching,and improve students' problem-solving ability in various real situations.According to the higher requirements for personnel training in the new era and the latest version of senior high biology curricular standards,combined with the needs of students' own development and the evaluation requirements of the college entrance examination system,this study puts forward the Problem-Based Learning(PBL)teaching mode.The model is problem-based,students through the form of group cooperation to analyze and solve problems,in the process of problem-solving to cultivate students' problem awareness and information extraction,cooperation and communication capabilities,etc.Through practical application,this paper analyzes the teaching effect of PBL teaching mode,hoping to provide reference for improving the quality of biology teaching.Firstly,this paper analyzes the research status of PBL teaching mode at home and abroad through literature research,defines the definition,basic characteristics and basic implementation steps of PBL teaching mode,and expounds the relevant theories of the research.Then,taking genetics and evolution as an example,the feasibility of PBL teaching mode in this module is analyzed from three aspects: curriculum requirements,teaching material structure and teaching content.On this basis,according to the classification of knowledge characteristics and learning objectives,the integration of learning content and teaching mode,the learning model of "Genetics and evolution" module is constructed,the learning unit applicable to PBL teaching mode in "Genetics and evolution" is summarized,and the teaching process of PBL teaching mode in this module is determined and applied to teaching practice.Finally,in order to test the implementation effect of PBL teaching mode,two classes in grade two of senior high school were selected for the experiment,and the implementation effect of PBL teaching mode was examined through questionnaire survey.The statistical analysis of teaching practice results shows that PBL teaching mode can effectively stimulate students' interest in biology learning,improve students' academic performance and biological problem-solving ability.
