In accordance with the present situation of biology teaching in biological teaching。Based on the former achievements and combined with the author's own thought and teaching experience, this article is intended to probe a teaching approach which meet the needs in the new situation---Problem -Solving Teaching Approach.First, make an instruction of the related questions on the"problem solving"teaching method. And then put forward the teaching principle of it according to the present situation of the biology teaching. That is, the principle of obvious purpose. Let the students know the teaching purpose ahead of time; the principle of concrete object. The teacher should make analyze based on the concrete problems; the principle of thought inspiration. The teacher should try his best to make the students form the habit of thinking especially the ability of creativity; the principle of process developing. The teaching process should be treated as a moving and developing process; the principle of complete system. The process of teaching should be complete.Second, based on the teaching principle, design the classroom instruction pattern of"problem solving": first of all, the teacher set up some questions of the biologic knowledge, and solve the problems. Let the students take part in the activity. Encourage them to propose the supposition based on their own experience and knowledge or state their plan to solve the problems by using the method of logic reasoning. Next, ask the students to confirm weather the supposition is right or not according to the knowledge that they have mastered, then work out their own comment. Finally, make the students reconsider the result and the process of problems solving. By reconsidering, turn back to the biologic knowledge questions. At last, by setting up these processes promote the students'multiple thinking ability.Finally, it confirms through teaching practice that the approach is more advanced than the traditional methods. it can encourage the activity and initiatives of the students to study cultivate the awareness of the students to apply and create in study and develop the ability of the students to analyze and solve the problems.
