A Contrastive Analysis On Scientific Researches On Basketball At Home And Abroad From 2009 To 2018

With the continual innovation of science and technology and of scientific research on basketball,most of countries in the world have yielded abundant fruits in basketball research field,which further drives the continual development of basketball.On the contrary,there are still disparities between basketball research at home and that abroad in terms of research subject,content,methods,although lots of research results have been obtained domestically.Therefore,this research,based on data sourced from literature in core journals with “Basketball” as the subject from CNKI and Web of Science from 2009 to 2018,with the help of CiteSpace5.5,has made a contrastive analysis on domestic and overseas scientific researches on basketball while using such methods as literature review,knowledge graph,contrastive analysis,expert interviews,mathematical statistics and so on.This research aims at revealing current situation,hot-spots and frontiers of scientific researches on basketball at home and abroad,so as to provide reference for follow-up study and subject selection to basketball researchers in China.Research results are listed as follows:(1)From 2009 to 2018,the amount of annual paper publication on basketball scientific research domestically is on the decline year on year while that of other countries is on the rise year after year.(2)From 2009 to 2018,a complex cooperative network involving many researchers with Lian Bizhen being the core has come into being in basketball scientific research field in China;however,many other researchers make their publications alone and forge a simple cooperative network.Nevertheless,basketball researchers abroad have built a complex cooperative network and almost no researcher makes basketball publications alone.(3)Professional sport universities in China with Beijing Sport University at the forefront are the main thrust in basketball scientific research field.In addition,comprehensive universities and normal universities have also made their contributions while there is little cooperation on research between institutions.Nonetheless,many institutions abroad with Ohio State University in the US and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in Spain at the forefront are very powerful in basketball scientific research fieldand have constructed a complex cooperative network among scientific research institutions.(4)Hotspots of basketball scientific research in China are mainly focused on CBA and NBA,physical and chemical monitoring on basketball players' training and rehabilitation,scores of Chinese men's basketball and attribution analysis of their performance and reserved basketball players' training.However,basketball scientific research hotspots overseas are mainly focused on risk factors and prevention of basketball injury,basketball training and data analysis of basketball competition.(5)The frontiers of domestic basketball scientific research center on the trend of world men's basketball,comparative research on Sino-US basketball culture and professional basketball association,basketball teaching in the campus,and the development of 3x3 basketball;however,the frontiers of foreign basketball scientific research center on basketball injury,risk assessment and preventive measures,physical features' monitoring,physical needs and physical stability of basketball players,and wheelchair basketball.
