Body posture is an important factor to reflect the health of human body.Keeping the right body posture can promote the healthy growth of children and adolescents.This study evaluated the body posture of children and adolescents,analyzed the distribution of abnormal body posture of children and adolescents and the potential causes,in order to provide theoretical and data reference for preventing postural disorder of children and adolescents.Research purposes:(1)Through the body posture evaluation of some primary and secondary school students in Shanghai,to understand the status quo of the body posture of children and adolescents;(2)Find out the types and potential causes of postural disorder in children and adolescents;(3)To raise the attention of society on postural disorder of children and adolescents,and to provide theoretical and data reference for the prevention and treatment of abnormal body posture of children and adolescents.Subjects and methods:This study evaluated the posture of 256 students from grade 6 to grade 2 in two nine-year schools in putuo district and songjiang district,Shanghai.Through the method of literature and expert interview,the body assessment indicators were determined as follows:Height,weight,BMI,high and low shoulders,rounded shoulders,neck forward,neck lateral,scoliosis,pelvic forward,pelvic lateral and leg shape.Through the questionnaire survey method to understand the basic information of students and parents of children and adolescents body posture knowledge and understanding.Posture assessment was conducted by means of posture assessment form,camera,tripod and software Posturecheck.The whole measurement process was conducted under the guidance of the rehabilitation instructor.Last,SPSS 23.0 was used to analyze the basic information and body posture of children and adolescents.Research results:(1)The children and adolescents who were tested had a high proportion of abnormal body posture,which was mainly concentrated in the upper limbs.The most common abnormal body posture was rounded shoulder,neck forward tilt,high and low shoulder and neck lateral tilt.(2)There was no significant difference in the abnormal body posture of the children and adolescents,and the distribution trend of abnormal body posture was consistent in all grades.Only grade 6 and grade 8 students showed significant difference in abnormal neck tilting(P<0.05).(3)The postural disorder of children and adolescents of different genders is different in some extent.The abnormal body posture rate of boys is higher than that of girls.There was a gender difference between the abnormal tilting of the neck and the forward tilting of the pelvis.(4)Overweight children and adolescents are more likely to have abnormal lower limb posture,pelvic forward tilt and leg shape have body index differences(P<0.05).Research conclusions:The children and adolescents tested had severe postural disorder,and the abnormal body posture does not exist only in the individual,but in the same individual due to the compensatory action of the body.In this assessment,there was no significant difference between different grades in abnormal body posture,and there were high abnormal rates in all the indicators of the three grades.There is a gender difference in abnormal body posture,and the abnormal body posture rate of male students is higher than that of female students,boys are more likely than girls to develop neck tilting and pelvic tilting.Overweight children and adolescents have a higher rate of abnormal body posture and are more prone to abnormal body posture of lower limbs.Heavy study load,poor living habits,family factors and poor eyesight may be the underlying causes of abnormal body posture.Exercise therapy can effectively prevent and cure abnormal body posture in children and adolescents,but the existing research still has some drawbacks,and further research is needed in the future.Proposal:In the future,body posture assessment of children and adolescents will be intensified.At the same time,exercise intervention can be used to prevent the abnormal body posture of children and adolescents.
