by conducing the literature review, expert interview and experiment method, and taking Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications undergraduate female students as experimental subject,this research focus on the influences of functional posture training for female university students,emphasized the characteristics and problems of body form of them, understand the influence of body shape and posture from the point view of health, and the importance of keeping correct posture alignment.The results as following:1 The indexes of body shape for female university students are formal on the whole. The indexes of height, weight and encirclement are all inside the formal range and the BMI as well,overweight are rear, only 5.4% BMJ exceed the standard. On the contrary, the body fat rate of 34.7% is fairly low;the waist-hip rate of all the students is in the formal range, indicate that the distribution of body fat is not stacked around waist and abdomen, but spread evenly.2 The problems of posture for female university students are especially serious.Only 3.3% of students are completely normal,the most of students have 3 sorts of problems. For the sitting posture, it is more serious that 4 indexes related to side view compare to back view. The humpback is the most popular problems.3 The indexes of posture indicated that incorrect head posture is mainly head extension;the rate of round shoulder is also very high. The incorrect pelvic posture is pelvis tilted backward, which shows that the posture problems for female university student are mainly due to the flat back result from long-time sitting.4 By increasing the lean body weight,functional posture training can enhances body's metabolism rate and influence the body fat rate, which have a positive impact for reducing body fat rate of female university students.5 Functional posture training is also having a positive influence on the waist,the waist reduced obviously. However, no clear impact on chest and hip, T test showed that on obvious changes,indicated functional posture training not only improves posture alignment,but also have a great effect on streamline the body shape.6 Functional posture training has good effect on correcting head extension, head side lurch, cervical vertebra excessive ante flexion, shoulder side lurch,round shoulders,pelvis tilted backward or forward, but on any good influence on spinal side bend.
