There are three main types of modern tennis courts: clay court, grass and hard court.Clay court velocity is the slowest, hard court is the fastest, professional tennis players want excellent results on different courts, not only requires comprehensive technical level, the tactical layout must also be adapted to local conditions. This article uses the methods of literature, video observation and mathematical statistics.Research on the top 15 professional tennis players in the world ranked by ATP in the 2019 season on clay and hard courts.Comprehensive analysis of the technical and tactical characteristics of 10 players in the game, explore the different technical and tactical characteristics of world professional tennis players on different courts, the results are as follows:(1)In the match between clay and hard court, the 10 players are using the world's two main service footwork: the same serve technique and non-parallel serve techniques. The number of non parallel serve is the majority.Because of the better explosive power, faster ball speed and strong attack, the opponent is not easy to carry out the dribble attack. The use of footwork is mainly to cross step, running, sliding step and parallel step, sliding steps are mainly used in clay courts, the utilization rate is obviously higher than that of hard court, and the braking distance of the clay court is long, and there is no taxi on hard ground.(2)In the tactics of the serve stage, reduced clay court ACE ball, serving is no longer a direct winning weapon. It's a matter of playing more rounds to get the point. In terms of first serve tactical options. In the clay and hard courts, players use the ball to the opponent's backhand position and use the base line defense and offensive tactics after serving. In the second round,no matter in the hard court or the clay court, the service speed is generally reduced, the stability is improved, the service Angle is also reduced.Choose to actively attack the opponent's backhand position in both clay and hard ground matches, but there are more choices and changes on the clay court than on hard courts.(3)In the tactics of the service return stage, the 10 players mainly take the forehand and backhand strokes, first serve after another is defensive.Second serve of offensive enhancement,in the return line of the tactical choice, mainly slashes and middle roads.Due to the influence of the court on the ball speed, the clay court competition pays more attention to the change of the line than the hard court competition, but the hard ground competition receives the service station later.(4)In the tactics and techniques of stalemate stage, there is no obvious difference between the placement of clay and hard court, the clay court is slightly more middle. The player's main return is a forehand stroke, backhand strokes are dominant, forehand side attack is auxiliary, use of forehand draw on clay courts is higher.Clay court is easier to reach the stalemate stage,on clay courts, athletes can score better than hard courts, because the clay ball is slower than the hard court. The scoring rate of the clay court is higher than that of the hard court. The usage rate of hard court forehand is higher than that of clay court. In terms of tactical layout, the frequency of changing line is higher in clay court, but less in hard court.
